        honestly, this phone is probably my favorite phone. perfect size, amazing camera, enough for my daily uses.
        note:I upgraded from Pixel 1 to Pixel 5 when Pixel 5 releases.

              I just put LineageOS 20 on this phone. I love it so much - aside from Google's software obsolescence, the phone still works perfectly fine. Battery's healthy, camera's still good, size is perfect.

                I wish there could be a newer Pixel 9 'mini' with a 6" screen like the Pixel 5, 256GB UFS 4.0, dynamic 120Hz and 2000-2500 peak nits. I have a Pixel 5 and outside I can barely see it with its 700 nits peak.

                Hopefully:
                Pixel 7: 155.6 x 73.2, 6.3" and 197g - oct '22
                Pixel 8: 150.5 x 70.8, 6.2" and 187g - oct '23
                Pixel 9: 145.5 x 71.2, 6.1" and 165g - oct '24?

                      Anonymous, 13 Jan 20245a has the motherboard failure problem. 4a has zero hardwar... morePixels 5a and less have edl black screen of death issue. Pixels 6 and higher get "pixel rom recovery" death screen. In both cases turning into basically unrecoverable serial devices.

                            Pixel 5 rear camera can record 4k@30fps, 4k@60fps, 1080p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, 1080p@120fps, 720p@240fps
                            GSMarena is wrong on the 1080p@240fps, the limit is 720p for 240fps.

                              All pixel 4a,5,5a will brick eventually when they overheat the chip, forums are filled with users saying their phone suddenly went black, if you search online this also happens on older and newer pixels.

                                My pixel bricked which I was using and it never rebooted, if you want a dead phone within few years, then buy pissel.
