Hopefully, by 2025 they will sell a phone in these dimensions again. In 2025 I might think of changing my current pixel 5.

I'm not so sure if battery really degrades fast here though definitely drains faster when it gets hot (over 40 C or so).

Tbh I think it's a software or battery issue. Ever since android 12 it hasn't been as fast and Accubattery says my battery health has degraded by 25%. I moved to a hot country and have to use my phone a lot so that makes things worse.
I can't wait to go back to the cold 🥶

You'll slowly start to realize that you really don't need high spec to do normal things on a phone.
You just said everything works fine, yet why are you still complaining about small thing on its speaker?
And you are talking about $150 device.
But if you are so into sound, you should get a real device, not a phone.
Same with camera, if you want best photo, you've got to get a real camera.

Got this phone from back market for $150 as I required a work phone. I'll be honest, this phone does everything nicely!!! And its a really good complement to my iphone 13. Of course, coming from the iphone, I really wish the speakers were better. But its fine. It does all the everyday tasks nicely. I can take it around the world, use different sims, take beautiful photos and stuff.
