Could have been a good phone if not for the price. Underwhelming processor for a very steep price at $700? I mean the Iphone 12 mini would start at 650 and 700 for the 128gb. People would defo lean on the Iphone 12 mini in this case for longer updates and better processor with a competitive cam as well. Google just tag their phones as if they have premium specs

Really? 700 dollars? You could buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, the iPhone 11, or the Honor 30 Pro Plus. Google, I’m disappointed.

I could easily upgrade my phone to 256GB when needed without buying a new phone. Also, when I buy a new phone I can transfer all my media library and documents from one phone to another in few seconds. I don't need to sync them trough some slow connection. Simply having SDcard capability in the phone is flexible. You could always ignore it if you don't need it, even though it's there. BTW,
New USB earphones are also more expensive than equally powerful 3.5mm jack ones. Right now I'm using same earphones on the go with my phone and at home with my computer. That's so convenient. (I'm glad you didn't mention bluetooth earphones. Those are just another junk I need to remember charge)
I respect Pixel phones for their camera. But that's all. IMO great camera is not enough to compensate for omission of sdcard and headphone jack. In my POV. YMMV.

I think it's a great phone. They have been stepping up their features from the rest of the android phones available in the market. And I think Google pixel 5 is one of those affordable phones with great specs and cameras! Must buy!
