Why don't google and sony make an in-screen fingerprint scanner?
The disadvantage of a fingerprint scanner on the back is that when the phone is lie down, it must first be lifted. If the scanner is on the screen, do not do this.

Google Phones are not available globally. In UAE we can get from Amazon, that also not immediately after the release. I consider the size which is good, as per the price we can get normal iPhone with in the same range.

Except phone software,night sight,refresh rate and camera software lg velvet is better than pixel 5 for this price.For same price you can buy lg velvet with dual screen,headphone jack,more battery mah, larger rear and front camera sensor, Bluethooth 5.1,sd card slot, fast charging lg 25 vs vs pixel 18, usb power delivery lg 3.0 vs 2.0 pixel.
Both are good phone. If you need good software go for pixel or if you need Good hardware go Lg velvet
