Google Pixel 6 appears in new ad, still no official launch date

Michail, 01 October 2021

The highly anticipated Pixel 6 appeared in a new video ad published by Google Japan. We get a glimpse of the phone’s key features such as its design, custom Google Tensor chip and some of Android 12’s dynamic theming options with the Material You design. Sadly, we still don’t get an official launch date for the phone which is rather unfortunate.

Based on rumors, the Pixel 6 series should launch on October 19 which is the date shown on the phones’ lock screens in previous teasers. We’ve seen plenty of Pixel 6 leaks so far with the most recent ones detailing the phone’s camera modes and pricing. Pixel 6 should start at €650 while the Pro will go from €900 based on a recent rumor. There’s even a brief hands-on video of a Pixel 6 Pro test unit making rounds on Twitter.

I assume Google should first arrange the Pixel 3 mass brick cases towards the users to keep their confidence in the newer Pixel models. https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/192008282?pli=1

They used to do it, but they didn't stop doing it, maybe they didn't believe so well, but a s22 ultra with pixek experience would be a tremendous move.
