Previous pixels had great software but lacked a good design and hardware. Google bought most of the Htc's research and design tech workers for its phones, hence you see a huge amount of improvement with the Pixel 6 series. From design to software to great hardware now. This is a big step up for Pixel phones with Htc helping!

The experience with regards to the Pixel 6 line seem to vary a lot, this is indicative of how Google hasn't improved upon their QC at all despite in the phone business for so long.

This phone has a crazy good battery life, almost 9 to 10 hours on single charge. They didn't do stereo speakers test, or the different video stabilization mode test including cinematic pan test!!!

GSM Arena, after the software upgrade, can you post an updated battery life rating for the Google Pixel 6 Pro? Because now the very low (84 hours) battery life rating is apparently due to a non-optimised OS. After all, Li-Ion 5003 mAh batteries should naturally be much more durable than just 84 hours.
I've had an LG G5 (battery endurance rating 60 hours), and its batteries drained particularly quickly when I was taking pictures. So now I choose a smartphone that takes good photos, but only with durable batteries. By the way, I'm still using the LG V30 (battery endurance rating 93 hours), but I'm planning to buy a new phone in half a year's time - I'm looking forward to the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Oppo Find X4 Pro - and I hope that maybe one of them won't let me down when they come out.
So after a very bad experience with a smartphone with weak, unsustainable batteries - I will now never buy a phone with a battery endurance rating of fewer than 90 hours.
Remember - dead batteries, therefore a dead phone with all its former advantages. Battery life must be given the highest priority. Also - when you are out in the wild, taking pictures of nature and the batteries run out quickly - even the fast charging function is useless because there are no power lines in the forest. Therefore, all smartphone manufacturers must focus exclusively on the durability of the batteries, which should have a minimum endurance of at least 100 hours.
And finally, a simple comparison. I am not a fan of Samsung, but their flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Li-Ion 5000 mAh has an endurance rating of 114 hours, while Google's flagship Pixel 6 Pro has a Li-Ion 5003 mAh battery with an endurance rating of only 84 hours. This is a BIG GAP BETWEEN! Why is Google failing to release a new flagship phone with durable batteries? And don't give me any comments claiming that the Google Pixel has adaptive batteries - that's nonsense. The battery endurance rating figures I just provided.

i own yotaphone 2 on the it has a curved screen inside of the bezels is great i have room to hold the smartphone and the screen looks so good
its just there a right & a wrong way to make curved screens ever brand in 2022 makes the curved screens the wrong way sadly

It's Sansung's fault and people who think it's more premium. Beautiful in appearance does not mean comfort, safety, nor good visibility in this case. I hope one day this nonsense will end.

Why are curved displays still a thing after all these years ? Are people really such a simp for it, when it causes great frustration in accidental touches, greater probability in screen damage, and greater difficulty in applying screen protectors (UV optical adhesive nonsense) ?
Aside from Apple and Sony, I really hope that smartphone brands can stop using curved displays for their higher/highest end phones, it's frustrating that they always do this (e.g., Xiaomi 12 Pro, Samsung S21 Ultra, Google Pixel 6 Pro, the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro etc). What's next in the "technological advancement" in the smartphone industry? Foldable phones with curved display?

Absolutely terrible manufacturer service. My new Pixel 6 phone continually crashes when you open the camera - been a problem since it arrived. Google said they will look at it, but I have to post t to them and be without a phone for two weeks, or drive to London a walk-in centre. totally unacceptable in this day and age. I will never buy a google phone again, and I will be dissuading anyone else I know from it too.

its not easy power pixel smartphone off i heard google made it hard use the smartphone without using there Google Assistant
google trying force people to use Google Assistant is wrong
i just find out the value for money is even worse then i first said you have buy your own changer and hope you got the right changer and the battery don't grade to fast from using a changer you think works
i never buy a smartphone without a changer in the box and you shouldn't too
people should boycott this behavior so no brand can do this to us

The Asus Zenfone 8 Flip we don't even need a
gaming phone to beat the best pixel phone
given the high price range we are talking about a should only have the best performance having less then the best for this price is the problem its flagship money
on paper the Asus Zenfone 8 flip is just all round better for normal/heavy user (unless your a fairly heavy user why pay so much money for smartphone in first place pixel 2/3/4 are all fine but don't buy pixel 1)
better camera then pixel 6 (Asus Zenfone 8 flip best selfie camera you just filp the camera to side You need it on)
battery life idk sorry
performance is better then pixel
screen a lot better then pixel (+no hole punch}
i think software pixel is better androidONE stock android with updates is great

After 25 years of using various mobile phone devices, the Pixel 6 proved to be the most annoying and less reliable mobile phone of them all. As I never had a Google phone before I decided to give it a go. Functions like Bluetooth, wi-fi, signal, finger print scanner are randomly working. Utterly frustrating when you need them and they don't. Almost two months of pain since I bought it and I waiting for Google to send me a replacement. I will sell it as soon as it arrives.

Google has always have had software issues with their phones. I had a Moto Nexus 6 that I adored before they updated to android 7 before everyone else. Then that phone was so buggy after that (random restarts, audio issues, connection and dropped calls). These phones will probably see Android 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 before the rest of the android world devices and Google will use the Pixel 6 pro and on to test the new software. I avoided Pixel because I dislike them using a mid range processor in a near flagship phone. Tensor is around flagship now and I like that, but I might wait until a Pixel 7 pro or Pixel 8 pro to let them work on the kinks.
