John , 03 Dec 2021I agree, except for bots!Also, Google will keep optimizing Tensor, as will app developers, so performance is only going to get better and better. And people have to remember, Tensor was not designed specifically to win benchmarks, and that's a good thing. Remember OnePlus's little incident? They chose benchmarks over real world performance and it back fired badly. I know some complain about the A76 cores, but remember that there are 5nm, not 7nm. Also remember that Google has pretty much mastered optimizing the 76 cores given that they were used in the pixel 4/xl, pixel 5, pixel 4a 5g, and the 5a 5g. Plus it turns out their more efficient per cycle than 78.
I'm not saying the pixel 6 pro or tensor is perfect, and I admit I'm extremely biased given I have the pixel 6 pro and love it..But both the phone and SoC are very very good, and shouldn't be reviewed based on just benchmarks, and spec sheets.

The first Pixel phone that is aesthetically attractive to me. Too bad that the phone is 1000+ euro and I don't have that amount of money to spend on a phone.

AnonD-1019084, 01 Dec 2021About 115GB I have noticed that the space on the phone was dropping rather quickly, and when I went into system / storage I noted that some of Google apps were storing a lot of user data and using a lot of cache, like Android System Intelligence: user data 1.5 gigabytes / cache 250 megabytes, Google: user data 1.05 gigabytes / cache 112 megabytes, Google Play services: user data 1.01 gigabytes / cache 65 megabytes. I would love to explanation from Google as to what they are storing.

I wish that I would not have bought the Google Pixel 6 Pro. I have had it for 3 weeks and asked for help from the salesman, a Google rep that was in store and I still can't get my email. I went to Google Pixel 6 Pro help and it did not help. Very disappointed!

We have seen the results, Tensor is right there performing better than Snapdragon n even matches A15bionic in some apps results and ram management. Snapdragon is not better either, Sd888 is the worst chip, has too many heating issues n battery problems with the phones! Use the S21 series or One plus series and you will know how bad it is. Even the last Sd870 is better than the current Sd888. lol.. While Tensor is a success for google considering their 1st chip which is competing very good. With December update it will only get more better from here... Design is a preference i personally love it, but saying Pixel 4 or 4xl is better than 6 Pro is a big joke. which is simply not true at all. Lol

i think the thick bezels on the google pixel phones the older phones is better gives people somewhere to hold the phone on top of letting you see what you are watching without a big black dot in your screen huge shame
stock android is really fav of mine but google always under spec there smartphones this time over price too most likely the worsted pixel phone too date :( bad chip too snapdragon is bettter
this smartphone is phone to avoid maybe if you want a google pixel buy google pixel 4 is way better value and design just the phone got a poor design and bad chip high price

Yes, you are half right. The the other half which in error I did not specify is 3D facial recognition which if I am not mistaken the Pixel 4 and XL have.

Best smartphone of 2021/2022 ... I love how the video camera has vibrant colours that looks so pleasing to the eyes at 4k60 fps. In some situations its even better than the Iphone. 6 pro is a fantastic phone as they say Its the phone that adapts you and yes it has adapted me from camera to battery to speakers to Pixel's experience is the just the best. Its a phone that you will love it! :)
