Bit sh.. show for Google as usual. Although with their following, sure they will be fine.
Look to have missed the boat on those apple renewals.....
Looking at price if it's over £700 for the pixel 6 and £900 for pro... Good luck with that.
Be interested if it is another winter warmer with that battery and chip.
Wait and see once released and bugs worked out....

This is absolutely insane that Google will use Sony IMX386 in a premium flagship that will release almost in 2022. The sensor is from 2016 and was used in Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Huawei P10 and some lower tier phones, sensor is smaller even than Pixel 1 sensor.
Every more premium or higher end flagships have better ultra-wide sensors and not even talking about some brands that use high end large sensors for ultra-wide.
Google extremely cheaping out once again and playing once again a software game, while they could completely crush with camera software and higher end hardware combined.

Ultra-wide: Sony IMX386 - 12 MP
Telephoto: Sony IMX586 (48 MP)
Ultra-wide almost as expected just an afterthought, but actually worse. At this point could of better used the old IMX363 as ultra-wide that they used for years, but they went with even more tiny and outdated sensor which is from 2016. Difference between main and ultra-wide cameras will be huge in quality, noise, detail, night performance, auto focus and etc.

I am thrilled that Google is doing a spec jump to a 50 MP main shooter and using the new Tensor chip. I will keep skepticism surrounding the price since there are other brands (Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, etc.) offering comparable hardware for lower prices. Mrwhosetheboss's comment on the Pixel 5 was that it was a phone let down by its underwhelming hardware. However, he went on further to say that the Pixel 5 was redeemed by its software. Thus, it will be very interesting to see how the Pixel 6 Pro feels, overall, now that its software won't need to overcompensate, as much, for its hardware. Very exciting to see this development!

Care if it's as expensive as they say! Why would you spend top dollar for a phone which is still mid range.... May as well stick with a 5a assuming they sort over heating 😂

Google think they are best with android but not hardware and then sold it with price over performance and capacity. Yes, I think it just a crazy smartphone ever since Pixel 3 series.
