I'm in doubt to pick between galaxy s21/pixel 6a/ Nothing phn1.... I prioritize camera and battery backup and don't play games... what should i go with, guys

But that is good if you have non risky stuff to do.
Most of my financial dealings happen on my phone. That's why I prefer a phone with good software and security patches support. It minimize the risk ( if not totally secure).

I am currently in doubt between pixel 6a, samsung A34 and xiami redmi note 12 pro. I don't normally play games on the phone so I value the battery, camera and the size (smaller the better). Any takes?

is this cell phone good for gaming? or is there any other option that has better performance than Xiaomi or any Chinese brand? (by gaming I mean just Call of Duty Mobile without any lag or overheating problems)

Just bought to use any custom android freely. Usable, snappy smartphone.You can install calyxOs, lineageOS, grapheneOS. So basically you can easily degooglify smartphone. TitanX hardware based encryption module also adds up some security, side boot loads, data can't be that easily stolen as in other brands, you basically need to have special hw and phone itself to do that. For casual use I am using f-droid for most part and if very necessary some apps from google store via aurora store. Pixel 6a could be used to significantly strengthen your privacy and security and at the same time you can have partial digital detox.

It is pure android - lacks many features that are present in the Galaxy phones. it doesn't over heat. finger print sensor is little slow and rejects many times. I disabled haptics for fingerprint and the rejection rate has reduced drastically - Have any body tried that? Ram management is just ok (expected much from google). Battery life is good. Camera is so so. Previously I used ip 13 which had better speed and photos. regarding Moto phones - I have doubt regarding their quality. all the best for your new phone.

[deleted post]I am using Pixel 6a since its launch in India.
I never had any issues of heating or anything else. It works smooth and simple without any issues.
I ensure one thing - I use original charger to charge the phone, install apps which are required, install apps from reliable sources, update apps regularly.
In short I keep my phone simple and straight forward, avoiding any kind of fancy apps and games.
Moto phones too are close to pure Android, but their update policy is unreliable. I preferred Moto previously but after Lenovo took over I avoid Motorola phones.
Pixel 6a will be reliable.

Take this from me, I am a Galaxy A13 4G user. It is terrible.
Go Pixel 6a all the way, you will not regret it.

Harris, 23 May 2023Should i go for Poco F5 or Pixel 6a?Same here... main reason for considering 6a is the Camera, I also like smaller phones., and google experience. but it's not officially sold on our country (sold by 3rd party sellers).. and red some comments about heating issue... Poco F5 on the other hand is sold locally but camera is obviously far from Pixel but performance, screen, and battery is way ahead. plus the Dual sim capability..
