i have purhaced pixel 6a in india , from starting onwards still facing issue with fingerprint sensor. even i updated to November month patch , i have deleted and recreated the fingerprint scan still not working properly, i have never expected such issues from google.

After using this phone for more than s month, coming from google 5a , I found that 5a is way better, than 6a , Im not a heavy user, just some YouTube, phone calls and some photos,, 6a finger print is a nightmare, also lots of freezes, bugs maybe, I don't know! , And correct me if I'm wrong, the camera of 5a feels better than 6a, also 5a is a battery champ , I'm thinking about switching back to 5a

I just wished to have a new phone as my Huawei P30 screen cracked and it was 3 yrs old; huge mistake; pixel launcher is the worse on android; no badges count only dots..even dots are working randomly; so same lacks for assigning different ringtones for apps; every patch or security update even update to android 13 took ages to finish. I have Nova 7 launcher as launcher to replace ; still same counts are randomly shown; it seems it is yet to be made compatible with android 13. And also randomly it going warn when charging. So google is randomly in everything ridiculous; voice assistant is starting by itself despite i turned off???

Bought the 6A with high expectations in India. However the phone kept re starting within 40 days of purchase, and I had to send it for repair. Pathetic customer support, they refused to replace my phone in spite of the fact that it was within warranty. They charged me in 1000 rupees for handling and courier charges for no fault of mine. No update from their side on the progress of the phone, no call, no message, no email . Everytime i had to call to check whats happening and when will I get my phone back. Moreover they have just one service center in Mumbai, no walkins allowed. You are forced to call the call centre and everything else is managed by them. Just sharing my experience here that its better to buy a brand like Apple or Samsung that has enough service centers all over your city so that you cab just walkin and get your issues addressed and sorted immediately. I won't recommend anybody buy this in India.

But after the price cut now that it only cost 300$, its a pretty damn good deal. You will only notice the age of the old camera sensor when you use the camera in low light situations.

Google cameras are the best don't matter 12.1 or higher. I believe they sit right next to iphones camera quality. I had iphone 11 and seeing both result from a pixel and iPhone they both can give same kinda results. Cameras from other mediacore phones from other company i doubt it will stand out to a pixel phone. Again that's my opinion.

Everything looks good except for the camera samples. It is a shame Google chose to recycle their 12mp, 1/2.5" sensor on a 2022 phone. There are plenty of better sensors for the midrange market.

Is anyone else facing issues with certain apps like Uber, swiggy etc not working on mobile data but works fine on Wifi. Using pixel 6a in India with vodafone

Not sure why they said dual band, it's a triband phone. I'm connected to 6GHZ to a router wifi 6E. So there's 2ghz, 5ghz, 6ghz. Triband.

average battery life for its size... my daily screen on time is about the same as a 13 mini - which have almost half of the battery capacity. phone gets warm easily from basic task. definitely not a 'compact' phone as some reviewers said. phone is too wide/chunky to be compact. fingerprint scanner is good enough, not the fastest, but it work in most situation: sweaty hands or dry hands. the trick is you need to 'firmly press' your finger like a button.
camera work is nice. but the image in the camera viewfinder and the end result photo might surprise you.

Great phone... grabbed one for just $299 in US on black Friday deals...so far good experience...but the only annoying thing the phone gets pretty warm frequently...
Rest so far so good....but for the price its a awesome steal for what it offers...

Ask in stores and they all say 6a over Samsung a53. Yet when you ask why, they don't know the phone. They know the Pixel line and it's got pizazz.
Meanwhile one added in but samsung has better build quality. The 6a gets warm to hot. Pixels are known for being buggy.
So when deciding I learned this shopping round that the reviews & store persons have a bias. So you have to compare based on YOUR OWN needs.
Interesting that the 6a you have can't get do phone calls well. I ordered an a53. I'll see how it does.
