I still can't fathom people wanting phones with a 6+ inch diameter. Seems totally useless to me. What are you even doing with a phone with a 7 inch display?
Don't get it at all.

If it was the same size as Pixel 5, I would’ve sold my pixel 6 pro for it in a heart beat, but alas! Google really needs to give us more size options like Apple. Look at iPhone 13 Pro, a flagship which is the same size as Pixel 5. If iOS had more freedom and navigation gestures like Pixel (Android), I would’ve bought iPhone 12/13 Mini right away.

siminum, 11 Jun 2022if you like iCrap so much why don't you buy that; also... moreMaybe he's not a fan of iOS. I love iPhones as they're a great products but their OS is something I don't like and that's pretty much the only reason why I'm stucked on Android phones all these years, but it would be great if some Android phone makers made a bit smaller and compact phone as their basic iPhone 13 model and that's what this guy was saying. He just want a better choice as there is not many of compact phones on market. Why do you have to be so negative and sarcastic about commenting iPhone? Do you feel better after? I don't know man, I mean we are all different and with digferent experience and needs so why do you hate those who wants something different?
      People... Lol

Have a wonderfull weekend buddy and try to relax, imagine how boring would be if we all think the same about everything surronding us... That would be a mess!

      Peace out!

6.1 here is fairly rare and basically the only decent recent options around there are S22, Xperia 5, Zenfone 8 or older google phones that go ≤ 6 inches.. and the former ones are like $650+ new

If you want massive 6.7+ especially outside the US there are tons of options. I don't even get Xiaomi as a realistic option despite the value. 😭

I would love to buy my first Google phone. Unfortunately their phones have small screen. I can't use small screen anymore after mi max 3 was introduced by Xiaomi. So google needs to bring people like me on board. Their 6.7 inches phones are very small compared to some other manufacturer. I need 6.9 or 7inc screen. I would finally buy google pixel

Please, look at the dimensions in millimeters. 6.1" doesn't mean anything by itself. First it's a 20:9 ratio, and then there are borders.
A size of 152.2mm x 71.8mm is reasonably compact, all in all. Go to a store, take a phone in one hand, try to type with both hands, and you'll feel it if the size is good for you. Not too narrow, not too wide for you hands. That's the only way to say "this is too big or too small for me". A few millimeters can make a huge difference, and there's no way to tell unless you have it in your hands.

I bet the performances of these two devices are relatively similar and D8100 heats less. Cameras on 11T Pro might be subpar but the ones on this device are neither the best. Still, you're to decide and I know the dimensions and display width on 11T Pro is huge.

The main differences from 4a are waterproofing (definitely a plus), optical fingerprint scanner which will hopefully be more reliable than the capacitive one in 4a (why is that one so bad compared to the one in Nexus 5X?), slightly faster CPU and GPU, and a missing headphone jack (not really a loss, to be honest). 5 years of support instead of just 3 is promising. Unfortunately, it's also much larger and heavier with no improvements to RAM, storage or display. The cameras also seem to be identical to 4a.
