Im expecting bugs and trash fingerprint, as its the same tensor chip and the same software. Why would i buy this over s21 SE (at around 500 € with 256gb storage) or the GT Neo 3?

ed, 12 May 2022myb one ui has no lag but its true it feels slow,i remember... moreThere is now much more with One UI just getting better and better One UI 1.0 got better with 2.0 then 3.0 and now it is 4.1 if u use now u will not feel slow.....it is very snappy now.....though I use S22+ now but before this I used Samsung note 10 which came with one Ui 1.0 but later it was upgraded to different versions year by year till latest 4.1 so I know the changes and smoothness it got.....I can't tell how the Samsung mid rangers perform with this UI but flagships run very smooth and fast even after updates no lags at all

But will it work this time? Their last Pixel phone has so many problems there are even angry discussions on Twitter about it.

Ok this one is way better thn the SE but that chin and forehead are giving me 2012 vibes!!

It's a great phone for the price but it's fighting a hard battle, the Samsung A line in particular which is excellent the A52S which can be had for 100€ less than this blows it out of the water in every department but chipset, hell even the A53 which lost the headphone jack is still a very viable alternative if one does not plan to do lots of heavy gaming.

And even then if one was then the Poco's and Redmi's out there would be the best choice.

One could argue that you're buying into the Google services on the cheap but even then the competition has caught up and if not there are apps that can fill in the gaps.

Long story short i like it but i would not buy it since there are so many other alternatives.

why no headphone jack nor memory card. Those things in a phone are a massive dealbreaker for me. Sony phones have those but the 10 iv has a bad cpu limiting video recording.

NeonHD, 12 May 2022One word: No. Two words: It depends. It is dependent ... moreYeah, but there's no such thing as "no DAC" on a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle - DAC stands for Digital Analog Converter and is necessary for a USB-C (digital) to 3.5mm (analog) dongle.

But yeah, if one cares about the sound quality (more than the average person), an external DAC is a safer choice than relying on the built-in DAC of the phone. Like I needed to get one for my Pixel 4a as the DAC is rather bad on that one unfortunately - so even though I wanted a phone with a headphone jack to easily use my headphones, the sound quality was too much of a let-down for me and I didn't want to pay the premium for the Samsung S10e equivalent, without even knowing how good it will sound anyways..

I still don't like that basically every phone drops the headphone jack nowadays..
