If you look at the specsheet of Vivo and Oppo phones, then that of a Google phone, you'll see that they are similar... but someone like you wouldn't care. The only phones you can think of are Google and Apple. first you see which brand it is (because then you get an idea of how many software updates you get), then the specs. The reason for this: In a speclist, you don't know how many years of support the phone gets.

There is one reason to by only Pixel and this reason is GRAPHENE OS that's it.

If this is anything like the pixel 6/6 pro it should be avoided at all costs. Never known such a buggy phone as the pixel 6 pro on android (other than Sony Xperia z1, that was beyond awful as a phone) and the 6a basically looks like a pixel 6, has same chip but then cameras from what, 2016? And one of the slowest charging phones on the market. Pixel 6 pro takes around 2 hours on wire, over 2 hours on a 40w wireless charger. They have completely lied about the speeds and IT CAN NOT DO 50% IN 30 MINS... EVER which GSM say it can. Its like going back to 2012 before LG released the G series).

I'm really lost with the current phones. I do not see how to replace my LG H870DS, arround the same budget for the same level of specs.
Plus I do not longer want to choose a brand who is not developing the OS (thanks LG for your unmaintained and locked LG G6 HK ; no alternative roms as solution)
iPhone SE 2022 ? A15 is ok but it's a very old shape with a tiny display, lesser RAM, loss of camera features...
Pixel 6a ? Old sensor, lesser screen resolution "but I can manage", loss of camera features too...
I'm not conviced at all they worth the bill.

I wish they continued with the size of the earlier pixel A series phones.. God, I love the size of my pixel 4a!!! If I wanted a bigger phone I'd go the pixel 6. 🙁
