In fact Pixel 5a has the same cameras, and it actually performs better than Pixel 6 Pro in Marques' blind smartphone camera test. So you will not downgrade cameras. In fact, you will get a lot better performance, but you lose the 90Hz (if that's what matters). This phone will have the same 60Hz Oled as my Pixel 3a!

It should have: finger print in the back, headphone jack, better quality OLED screen or with high quality IPS LCD screen.

Just get the never failing rear fingerprint reader in and it will be best value/performing phone in real life usage.
( 6.2 inch, 1080x2400 , 12MP camera, 6/8GB RAM, Google Tensor, 4800mAh )

I am presently approaching my sixth year of SUPERB and flawless display with an S6 Amoled. The phone has been constanley used without any issue. Looking forward to changing to Pixel 6A as long as it IS Amoled.

They should install decent IPS screen, so ... moreLol, AMOLED screens are much more durable now than in the past, I had few phones with AMOLED for more than year and screen was fine. AMOLED is better for phones in terms of battery life and will keep replacing IPS screens. If you want IPS, you'll need to stay in low-end category.

Why AMOLED? Why? They should install decent IPS screen, so the display will last longer than one year. Such a good phone, small in size with decent battery and what they did? They've put AMOLED inside :(

DO you not remember that Google just released Pixel 5a with a tiny bit bigger 6.3 inch screen and PACKED a 4680mAh battery? I'm telling you, a 4600mAh on the 6a is completely possible. Now it's up to Google to make the battery life great.

ElioX, 12 Dec 2021You can have bigger battery if you use smartphones from Ene... moreAnyways. The problem with the Pixel 6 wasn't even that the battery wasn't big enough. 4610 mAh is PLENTY. It's rather the efficiency of Tensor cpu (and possibly standby drain as AI and TPU algorithms working in the background). Maybe in the new updates for Pixel 6, battery may see an improvement. If it does, then Google having a year to work on Tensor before it rolls out in the 6a may even make better battery life. So 6a might even get better battery life even with 4500.
