Feature packed, still relatively light. Incredibly cheap (last cycle before hyperinflation). And with lovely notification light which is now offered only by Xperia.
I wish one day we come back to those features, we get light phones, and no notch. Xperia needs to tweak the display, camera, software and reach this goal first.

Pixels have AOSP + Pixel experience on top of it.
Motorola phones have AOSP + MyUX experience on top of it.
Yes, they are minimal upgrades compared to likes of OneUI or MIUI, but still, nobody sells AOSP because you can't use Google apps.

Other phone manufacturers won't copy them because they waste battery and makes the phone look cheap rather than fashionable.

Until the Pinephone leaves beta, the Pixel phones are the BEST phones you can get out there (that or a Sony phone with you want microsd+headphone jack)
-Pixels come with pure stock android, no extra useless fancy BS
-Fastest to recieve newest android updates and also gets the longest support out of any android device out there
-Pixels, even on stock ROM, have less spyware than other phones, since it's just google tracking you, rather than google+phone manufacturer
-Pixels are very popular, and are much easier to root and unlock the bootloader
-Great cameras
-GRAPHENE OS. NEED I SAY MORE? The BEST in smartphone privacy and security
The pixels are the best/least bad android phones out there. If you don't care about microSD or a headphone jack, there is NO reason to get anything else other than a pixel. If you do then it's a Sony phone.

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2023Well, Sony still have notification LEDs. Zenfone 8 had it a... moreFacts are facts. Smartphones which still have LED indicators are extremely rare in 2023. LED indicator phase out in the Android world started around 2016. The LG V20 (2016) actually no longer has LED indicators as do most flagship phones of 2016.
To ask for a LED indicator in a 2023 flagship phone is like asking your record store if they still have a cassette tape recording of your favorite 1980s artist.
Discussing the benefits of LED indicators in 2023 and demanding that phone manufacturers should retain them or bring them back, or else many people will not buy their phone is an exercise in futility.
The same can be said for the micro SD card, the headphone jack, removable battery and IR blaster. You can complain and criticize all you want and discuss the merits of those important features, but there's absolutely nothing you can do. I've been there and I've done that for the last 5 years - criticize phones that don't have those features especially expensive flagships, but as mentioned, it's an exercise in futility.
Only worldwide regulation like what the EU is doing will bring the
power back to the consumer because huge companies are motivated by profit. They want consumers to buy a new smartphone at least every 2 years even if it is very easy to design a smartphone that can easily last 10 years with removable battery, micro sd expansion, headphone jack, etc.
