Anonymous, 12 Nov 2023thanks, I'll consider this, but how comes the P7 doesn... moreIf you are using a Pixel in a country where the phone was never officially launched/released by Google, not all 5G services might be available in this country.
For me, the biggest disappointment is camera.
If you prefer natural looking photos go away from Pixel 7.
If you prefer features, do the same, don't choose Pixel 7.
If you prefer customisation, don't go for Pixel 7.
Apart from that, it's heavy and slippery, it tends to get hot, battery is mediocre...
Good points; photos taken under low lights and anything else.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2023I want your opinion guys, should i get Pixel 7 or galaxy s2... moreOnly get the Pixel 7 if you are willing to compromise on everything else (no 5G, no VoLTE, no VoNR, no ViLTE, limited software update support, no wireless screen mirroring, no Dex mode, no 3G/4G/5G band selection, no video out over USB C, etc.). The Pixels are one-trick ponies. Remove their camera software superiority and you're left with a largely average phone that costs more than what other brands offer for the specs. Buy the Pixel phones for their camera superiority and nothing else, and you won't be disappointed.

Well I simply likened that claim to the claim by the flat earthers who insist the earth is really flat or the claim by conspiracy theorists that man never landed on the moon and that 1969 Apollo 11 landing was faked.

The analogy was meant as sarcasm for these diehard symbian fans. It's also meant as a sarcasm for a certain subset of these symbian fans who own the Nokia Pureview 808 and claim its photo quality is still on par with and even superior to modern flagship android phones when the truth is, even modern midrange android phones have long surpassed the photographic prowess of the once reigning mobile photography champion, the Nokia Pureview 808.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2023Okay I'm gonna need your help guys. Pixel 7 (8/128) ... moreIf all you want is great low light photo and video quality and don't care for all the rest of the phone specs and features, get the Pixel 7.

On the other hand, if you want a phone that has longer software support than the Pixel 7, a phone that supports 5G SA and 5G NSA, VoLTE and ViLTE, and VoNR even in countries the phone has not been released, get the Samsung A54. Google intentionally blocked support for 5G on the Pixel 7 if used in a country the Pixel 7 was never released. The Android 14 software update retains the geographical blocking/restriction of 5G in Pixel phones by Google.

                            Pixel 7 (8/128) or A54 (8/256) for long term use (3-5 years)?
In my country it is almost the same price so I want to know if which is which.

A world championed by old Nokia fans who truly believed the 808 Pureview Nokia will still outperform any modern midrange smartphone let alone any android flagship phone in the camera or battery department. Yeah right. The earth is flat. Man never landed on the moon.

why id the fingerprint on the front, my finger is on the back of the phone or my thumb is on the power button.
i set off the emergency call by mistake cos the PIN "enter" button is too close to the emergency button, also most PINS open on the last number, why do i have to enter my PIN then press an enter button at all?
can the "emergency call" button be moved away from the "enter pin" button? it's so easy to press by mistake - pixel 7
