If google is the best optimised android phone with the best ai features smartphone you could find right now, oh yea.. with its powerful computational photography beating other flagships, you could imgn if they were to make their own chipsets rather than relying on samsung socs fabrication that tend to be poor in performance with heating issues, this is one factor that the pixel has bad battery life and buggy. My point is that if google could make their own chipset, their smartphone would beat all flagships not to mention the i phone in optimization, performance, camera, battery life and its Ai features(not to mention its still the best advanced ai smartphone right now).. i still have hope in google 😜😀

One is annoying, one is... moreI am having the touch recognition issues as well i thought it was due to the display protection but even after removing it, it still exists. I tried resetting and updating and tried changing to the navigation buttons but to no avail. Sometimes i do have that issue when using the 3-Button navigation.

This pixel 7 pro selfie ultrawide is not a real ultrawide.
Incomparable to pixel 3 xl. So disappointed.
The real ultrawide, you gonna look for Honor Magic4 Pro!

I've found two recurring bugs. One is annoying, one is pretty bad.
My screen color is set to natural. Yet, sometimes, the screen randomly flashes with saturation, basically searing your eyes with color. Not a big issue.
The other one is rather unfortunate. Sometimes, touches just doesn't register. I thought it was the game when it randomly stopped registering touches, but then, spacebar and period just wouldn't function while typing. This one's bad.

I just discovered the flaw of the Pixel that makes me very bitter about the phone. The display is LTPO 1.0 and can change between 10 and 120hz. But it always runs at 120hz, and when I don't touch the phone, it goes down to 60hz. Now, that's already quite wasteful, but the nail in the coffin is how the AOD also runs at 60hz. Say what? Even the P30 Pro goes down to 24hz or something when its AOD is running. It manifests as a slightly stuttering startup animation. It's not really noticeable, however.
But I'm pretty upset now. Because if Google properly utilizes the display they have, I have no doubt that they could extend the Pixel's battery life by an hour, and up the endurance rating from 83 to maybe 95 hours or something.

IcyPRO, 20 Nov 2022What? I'd have to pay 1000€ to buy it..I traded in my Pixel 6 Pro, and with the discount, it was only $200 for the Pixel 7 Pro.
They sent me a shipping label and box, all I had to do was wipe it back to factory, place it in the box, put the label on the box and drop it off at the post office. (I got a receipt from the post office, just in case). Took 4 days and got a confirmation from Google they have received it, and in about 1-2 days, I will get a confirmation from Google they have refunded the difference back to me.

no problems ,except the learning curve, coming from iPhone

Worst phone ive ever had. Face recognition does not unlock your phone, you then have to put your finger where fingerprint unlock would be anyway so its totally pointless having it. Can't get a glass protector as fingerprint then dont work so have to pay 35 pound for a thin screen protector which is not going to stop the screen from smashing. Google bar on home screen cant be removed. top half of home screen cant be customised or put any apps there. menus are confusing, all same color background on menus and no bubbles or boxes. apps being circle instead of square looks rubbish. not impressed with it at all. Going back to my huawei p30 pro new edition and considering getting something else.

Wow! I am actually surprised, this is the 1st phone that lets you simultaneously switch across all lenses while recording 4k60fps videos... That's Amazing :)
