no smartphone cameras can beat any of processional cameras.
Or you just take average photo and edit it on computer by using photoshop.
and of course, it is ridiculous to pay such a high price for a phone.
You guy should really think carefully before purchasing an expensive phone stuff.

This phone is a beast in terms of performance, battery life, top of the line specs and wonderful camera. I use it since October 2022 and zero issues.
Yet, lots of trolls and paid scam comments spreading nothing but false feedback here. Beware of trolls!

The Google Pixel 7 PRO is a fraud; I purchased it mainly because of its famous cameras and software, but both are completely disappointing. The sofware overtweaks the images, so one ends with very bad jpg pictures, worth only of very cheap cameras. I own a Hwawei P20 Lite and a Hwawei P30; the Pixel 7 PRO performs worse than the P20, and is by far inferior to the P30. The raw files of the Google 7 PRO are only similar to those of the P20 or, being too benevolent, of the P30.
Only in certain cases, one can obtain decent results moving the brightness slider to underexpose the image, but it works only once in a while.
Besides, I can't understand the suffix PRO, since the Pixel 7 PRO does not allow the user to control the ISO and shutter speed settings!
Don't buy ths phone; is a fraud.

Sarajevo, 19 Jan 2023Is there an official charger to buy for this phone? ThanksThere is a google charger, but it's a complete scam... You should buy any charger for half the price, which supports PD3.0, as pixel is capable only for 23W charging, same on mine 6 pro, instead of 2h, pixel charger does that in 1h 40mins... and that's what you get for extra 50 euros...

Good phone.
Battery lasts very well if in 1080HD - much better than Oppo Find x2 pro. But slow to charge, approx 1% per minute for both a 15W (from Pixel 4a) and 18W charger.
Macro shots are better, tiny text printed on Pixel charger is readable, unlike with Oppo macro shots.
I'm using two GPS apps when driving, apps can use only 50% of the screen at 1080HD, meaning you need to use 1440p to get it to allow 2/3 of the screen for one app. 2/3 is needed to make Waze display km to destination. Also not supporting floating window, like Oppo does, except for google maps.
Negative:
* VERY picky about chargers, can only get it to work with USB C chargers, not Oppo or Huawei, BlackView, Asus that is using USB A. However, using an Oppo cable from the Oppo charger insert into a PC, then it will charge via USB A... Power bank with USB A not working, only with USB C. Except I can get BlackView cable working with Anker powerbank and Asus charger USB A, but not with Oppo/Huawei. I can get BlackView cable to work with Apple 5W charger, but not Apple 10W. VERY annoying, no other brand creates so much cable/charger trouble! EU believed USB C would offer universal charging, not with Google :-).
* No free photo cloud, unlike Pixel 4a

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2023This phone is completely garbage. Buy this phone at your ow... moreIt can be garbage depending on one's needs. Just like Apple's iPhones. They're one overpriced garbage after another if you value freedom from Apple's insane control - can't share files to PC, to another android phone via bluetooth or wifi, horrendous customization options, buggy software updates, inferior camera compared to the Pixel 7 Pro, etc.

Whenever pixel release, wait for 5-6 months. Then and then one should buy. Or buy one generation earlier premium Samsung phone which already had 1 year updates; second hand has good value for money.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2023Face ID is just a marketing/commercial name for face unlock... moreHonor magic3 and 4 Pro have a biometric sensor for secure face unlock and I'm sure the pixel 4 series had a biometrics sensor too... which now they don't. Samsung used to have an iris scanner sensor which they scrapped for the standard face unlock.
Good few Huawei phones through the years that have a biometric ToF 3d IF sensor including the 40 series and the current mate 50 series (not sure about the p50). Might be some other companies that have had actual biometric unlock aswell this is top of my head phones.
These use actual scanning of the face to unlock (iPhone like) not scanning of a photo and using the selfie cam to compare your face to it which is why they won't work in the dark if the screen isn't bright enough (like other android brands).
