With that being said the battery life wasn't great and there were a couple of other weird quirks (my GPS was slow to update my location). It's a decent device but not the phone of one's dreams

My find X5 usually hits 9-12 hours SoT with 24 hours use since last charge and that's YouTube with BT headphones or BT speaker, running 2 5g sims picking 5g on both constantly up, some game emulation (usually game boy advance or DS) and Spotify use, sometimes some amazon video use too at night, this is with a constant 120hz (has no LTPO screen). That's from 80-85% battery to about 15-20% on average.

Horrible device. They're asking flagship prices yet they only give you a rebranded Exynos with some meme AI nonsense nobody uses on a phone. I ain't buying a phone with Samsung made SoC, it's TSMC or bust.

I share my battery life experience after a week of use:
from 7am: not stress day: 4hr sot after17hr with 40% left.
On stress days (so YouTube always working at work mostly over Bluetooth device on 4g) 6hr sot at 6pm with 20% left ,7.30hr sot in total before bedtime.
I'm using the phone on 4g/fulhd/60hz.i use WiFi in the evening only.
Pixel at 60hz is still fast as a hell! I don't miss 120hz at all. I prefer a wonderful battery life.
I was worried about battery performance but not anymore.

I was ready to jump out of Apple, let’s be frank iOS and iTunes is very good. Although Apple is starting to take its users for granted. I like the thought of the Pixel 7 pro and that Google is both hardware and software. The big phone distinction for me between the iPhone and pixel is the 3yrs os support by Google and 7 yrs by Apple.
Understand security updates is 5yrs on the pixel

Omg people... I honestly love this phone.. prom price to camera to software to smoothness to snappiness to face unlock to battery to speakers.. this phone is just acing everything. I will recommend everyone this phone especially it's undercutting every other flagship that is overly priced. Excellent phone! 🥰

And in this regard, it's quite an important thing. Dictation, picture quality, predictive behavior, etc. All are better with the Tensor G2, especially when you factor in the fact that nothing apart from the Pixel 7s will use the Tensor G2, making optimization limitations sky-high. Qualcomm quotes a sky-high AI possibility but given the multitude of devices that will use it, I doubt whenever ANY phone will be optimized to use all of it.
However, it's up to you to decide if this matters to you. Personally speaking, if the Tensor G2 was made on a 4nm N4 process, I think it would be better than the SD 8+ Gen 1 due to pure optimization. The AI advantages of the Tensor G2 cannot be denied, and if the architecture was the same, power usage would DEFINITELY be lower. However, it isn't and will suffer from worse thermals due to the shitty foundries that make it, unfortunately.

Vivo and honor do phones with ultrasonic fingerprints and honor also supply a biometric sensor for proper face unlock on the magic4 pro/ultimate
