Had this phone two weeks now and it's a temperamental POS. It locks up in text mode and on the phone mode. My one plus 7 pro was 100x better phone. I got much better phone reception. From a 4G phone them this make believe 5g crap. The bluetooth connectivity is hit and miss, and it just feels like a piece of crap. This is my second pixel and will never own another. I prefer android over IOS but this piece of crap is just a apple want to o be.

ZeroFM, 25 Mar 2023Battery life improved after updates? It's only gotten worse for me. I've received two firmware updates, and only minor bugs have been squashed.

Battery life continues to be poor, though I am running my phone at max settings and I have a 12GB version. But dialing down the resolution doesn't help, and 60hz starts to get annoying, especially when I know I can use 120hz. If you want a number, the battery life of the Google Pixel 7 Pro is 4 hours on intense use, and maybe 7 hours on the lightest use. The furthest I've gotten is 6 hours and a half.

I had this phone about 3 days and got a scratch in the screen, my oneplus 7t took 2 years before I managed to scratch it. today I put in my pocket with my house keys and when I took it out the curve part of the screen had chipped. now screen is flickering. The durability of the screen is terrible. my 7t still not broken after 3+ years yet pixel f****ed in 3 months.

I get yesterday my Pro 7. Today i try it for 20 minutes and decide to give it back. Its heating up like crazy on wifi, and looks fragile and very plastic. My english is not so good so i can not describe precise impressions. This victus screen when i little knock with finger nails sounds like plastic. I have had google nexus many years ago and i really like it. Now i was thinking about get back with Google again, but...for now i stick with my old phone.

Yeah it's too big, can get hot when charging...need your charger, tried a few. Sound isn't that loud in a kitchen listening to a podcast in the morning (without anything unusual on...just the fridge). Screen doesn't have a protector and keeps plasticy. Camera is fast. GUI isn't anything special. Not dual SIM Not getting many calls on it haha. The white line at the bottom is annoying but adrer four days I forgot about it and the gesture is better when I then switch to my older phone - Redmi 11 which screen shattered

I don't recommend it. It's expensive. My first Google/Pixel phone. Had Moto's, Nokia, Wileyfox, LG, Oppo, Samsungs, iPhone's. Will try OnePlus nex (after my iPhone 13 or 14 arriving next week, can't see a preference for the 14)

Hi guys! I have a question. Since I am new to Pixel phones, I wanna know is there a way to block anybody who tries to call with hidden number? But only hidden numbers, NOT unknown numbers as well, because that is not good.

The Samsung S23 5G is actually SUPERIOR in everything to the Pixel - from display size, refresh rate, quality, battery life, processor speed, software features and flexibility, etc., but MAKE NO MISTAKE: Low light image quality is NOT one of them.

ViVo, 19 Mar 2023I've used a pixel 7 and a pixel 7 pro at my local Curr... moreReally? Side by side shoot out, Pixel 7/7 Pro vs S23 Ultra? Series of test shoot outs of the exact same scene? And you still conclude the S23 ultra as superior? What monitor were you using to judge the image quality of the shoot outs? A calibrated 4K UHD monitor? I can only laugh. If you really, honestly compared both the S23 ultra and the Pixel 7/7Pro as I did, you won't be arguing with me which phone captures the best low light photos. However, it's obvious you didn't actually compare them side by side on the same scenes in a real world shoot out and viewed the results in a calibrated 4K monitor and hence, the reason for your wrong conclusion.

Let me tell you, it's a good camera system for the price and that's about it. Rubbish skin tones, absolute shit zoom capabilities and decent video. The only thing noteworthy about it is realistic colour accuracy and that's about it. Any phone could have that with a simple software tweak provided it has a good sensor. As far as the night shots go, most reviewers have said it's good considering it doesn't have dedicated process, but the competition is just superior, period. Don't be deluded.

If you only have experience with the S23 ultra and not with the Pixel 7/7Pro and have not done any actual side by side comparison shoot out between the two, then I can understand why you think the S23 ultra is superior. Ignorance is bliss as they say. So believe what you want to believe it. Better yet, buy a 128GB Pixel 7. It costs 1/3 the price of the S23 Ultra but totally obliterates the S23 Ultra in low light photography. After you do, then come back here and let's talk again because by then, we have experience with both.

The fact that you think Pixels camera's are better than S23's shows to me how uneducated some people are. Selfie just completely obliterates al phones out there, especially iPhones, it's not even a competition. What you're talking about is high saturated, oversharpened imgs that USED to be on the samsungs flagships until the OneUI 5.0 update has pretty much rectified that, and with 5.1, it's almost completely gone if not disappeared already. Software tweaks from henceforth is only going to improve the S23 lineup cameras now, with the rumoured update this month.
