Security is the most important thing. Don't lock your car, your home doors and then tell me you don't need security otherwise you are delusional.

Because it's google, 75hr endurance rating, only 128gb option and poor cpu are all excused and 4.3 stars are given, just like it would be excused for iphones. Their excuse is "muh software update!".
Had it been Xiaomi, none of these would have been excused. I mean Poco F5 with much better cpu, battery and storage options is rated lower, why? Because of less software update.
This is clear bias towards certain brands under the name of something of little importance like software updates.

Mediocre exynos, tensor etc heat up very easily and drain a lot of battery, even during something as simple as video recording and light gaming. You don't need to be one of those who runs benchmark whole day to realize how poor these Samsung manufactured exynos/tensor chips are.
75hr endurance rating in 2023 shows so clearly how bad it is, but still gsmarena shamefully giving it higher rating than Poco F5.

However surprise, surprise exynos is back with s24. For customers it's win win situation more competition is better. I hope samsung can make once again good cpu like in s7 days but probably no chance. Tensor is not that bad but ofcourse it can't compete with snapdragon gen 2.

It's a bit of heater but I don't mind, battery life could be better but I expect it to be fine tuned through updates
9/10 would recommend 👍

Why would anyone get this over the Samsung A54 ? , less software support , s**t battery life compared to the A54 and only available in 128 GB ,unlike the A54.

Of course, Google can gaslight the people into believing that 'benchmarks isn't everything'.
Even Samsung has stopped using Exynos for its flagship Galaxy phones... that tells you much.

Only 128GB of storage with no MicroSD, really? 256GB is now the minimum option for phones without SD card otherwise it's basically for budget phones.

If you are into gaming, you should better look elsewhere. GPU can achieve 1193 gflops, whereas SD 888 gets over 1700. It's just a cameraphone, with a nice display and fairly decent and fast UI, where all google services are integrated (e.g you can select some random text and use google translator without opening the app/ a new tab)
