Anonymous, 16 May 2023And what year is now? 2016? I guess not. No 2015, no sd car... moreTime to move on from cables? Give me your address, I'll go and cut off all the cables and make you and your home free from cables. But don't call me again when your "wireless" charger doesn't work.
Seriously, don't you realize convenience of a simple headphone jack? It's so much easier just to plug in and no need to worry! I guess it gets in the way outdoors, but at home? There's absolutely no excuse. Also no need to damage usb C port by overusing it, let the headphone jack do it's job.

Seems like you're a bit slow in the head. I was arguing your "1998" argument.
"Time to move on from cables. Bluetooth accessories is cheap and amazing + 0 cables. Use adapter usb type c to aux if you want additional cable headache."
Cheap Bluetooth is far from amazing and wired is better 99% of the time.
You're so deluded into thinking "wires are bad" that you can't come up with a rational argument against having a headphone jack on a phone.
You can still use Bluetooth and have a jack on ur phone, Sony does it on their flagships. Others do it to force you to buy earbuds.

Frans, 16 May 2023Question: Can the camera do long exposures? That is, can I ... moreThis is a smart phone, not a canon camera. There’s no such thing as a Long Exposure‘s on a smart phone. What do you get in 15 seconds is what they call a burst shot which is multiple photographs in a string. It’s useful for catching a photo during an action event, so that you can select individual photos to save, catching action as a still rather than just one blurry photograph.

H.S, 14 May 2023Google has the best camera colours available on a smartphon... moreWhen it comes to security, iPhone has the best sandboxing. But the users are often very poor at setting up security, don’t know how to use find my phone, don’t use two factor authentication’s. Basically don’t know how to use a smart phone safely. They buy an iPhone because it supposed to be simple and user-friendly. Number two for security is Google. It comes with a tensor security chip. I’m not saying Samsung doesn’t have excellent security features, like Knox. But unless you know what you’re doing with an android phone, you’re gonna make some of the same mistakes people make with iPhones, not using two-step authentication‘s or authenticator apps.
Cameras: this is going to depend on the model. iPhone Pro has the best iPhone camera. Samsung ultra has the best Samsung camera. Google pixel pro has the best pixel camera. I have been very impressed with photos that I took on the original pixel phone that came out seven years ago. Those photographs still look more dynamic, better color, better quality than photos I produce on my brand new Samsung phone. And pretty equivalent to photos I produce on the 6a. If Google keeps up this quality they’re going to start giving Samsung a run for their money. The only downside a.k.a. problem I’m having with Pixel is once you purchase a Google pixel you can’t seem to switch your text messages and messaging doesn’t work on a different android phone. We were unable to solve the problem with the service provider so instead of putting my son on a one+, which he liked, I put them on another new pixel.

Anonymous, 13 May 2023I don't get the purpose of the "a" series ph... moreI guess you haven’t purchased a flagship phone in the last eight years. The price of a flagship handheld computer went up to 650, then 800, then 1000, and now $1000, and up is what a flagship will cost you. $500 is considered mid range. Considering the quality in the pixel, a series phones, they are quite good for ‘mid range’. I would say it’s priced appropriately. If you’re looking at phones in the $200-$300 range, that is considered low mid. A phone in that price range is going to be about equivalent to phones that are 10 years old. Like the original next big thing, the Samsung galaxy S3. Which today would be $100-$150 bargain phone sold for prepaid service with limited LTE bands for North America only.
And if you compare the flagship phones to their lesser siblings in the same brand, there are features missing on purpose. You get what you pay for. I have gone entirely mobile and see no purpose in a desktop.

I have owned my one for a few days now and the only thing that has disappointed me has been the low volume from the speakers. It is so low that I have missed a few calls if the phone is in my pocket and I haven't heard it ringing.

Anonymous, 15 May 2023Compare Google 7a to Samsung S21+ and you will see how bad ... moreAnd your point is 2 year old phones are cheap right? I can buy a two year old pixel 4a for less than $300 ($100-150 on Swappa)
That’s not an appropriate comparison. The a series is meant to be a bargain phone. And I bought the 6a for both me and my son and it’s quite good compared to the previous pixel a model phones.. I own an S 23+ as well. The pixel takes awfully good pictures compared to the S23+. I like Samsung. They make extremely good fonts. But that doesn’t mean pixel. Also does not make really good phones. The six series and the seven series are exceptional. A big improvement over previous models. Google is finally getting it right

Now that the gap has shrink so much, it has come to the point where Google is thinking about axing the Pixel A series.
