It's because these cards are dog slow and thus slow down rest of the phone. I tell them to get rid of the SD card and copy their files to PC instead. No performance issues since then.

For smartphones without microSD card support, 256GB as the base internal storage should be the norm. Most people, especially those who always think that microSD card is outdated and irrelevant, still don't realize that you literally put everything on the phone's internal storage, including offline cloud storage files.

hopefully this would come with at least 256GB of storage. 128GB is not enough for everyday usage of this phone.

seriousally? 128 gigs? thats it? even samsung's allegedly ''bad'' a54 comes with 256gb storage AND a micro sd card slot supporting up to a terrabyte.

There are rumors about it mostly being the same phone as the 7 repackaged. Doing this, the logical explanation would be that it will be smaller as still many people look for phones taking up less space.

128gb of non expandable storage is just asking for issues in a couple mof years. A real shame it's not offered.
