If only they'd stuck with Qualcomm... Because, let's be honest, prices are through the roof, considering it's an in-house designed SoC... Feels like Google is getting greedy.

I've had a pretty awful experience with this phone. I could list of all the reasons why, but most importantly is the camera...
The camera on this phone is absolutely diabolical. Every time I take a picture it looks like the Microsoft Powerpoint 'Plastic Filter' has been applied to it. Perhaps it's the result of just 2 camera modules, and no leica lense.
I'm coming from the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which had 3 camera modules, and a leica lense. The camera quality on that phone was always fantastic.

My first pixel phone the 8 does what I need, easy to use basically and no duplicate apps, just added the pixel tab about 2 months ago like it but lack of cellular connectivity 120hz otherwise great 👍 pixel 9 pro on my radar and the pixel 2 watch is great no duplicate apps 🤓👍 not sure of the AI thing 🤔

Have had this phone for the past 4 months, and makes me regret ever taking a deal with this phone. The phone is so no where smooth in comparison to many other brands like Sony and Samsung, googles OS is still very much behind loads of stuff, From apps freezing and glitching out onto screen to completely freezing up at random and some apps not even opening at all, and terrific battery life thats the biggest downfall of this phone. Wouldn't recommend and won't ever be getting another Google phone

it's a beautiful phone. portable and picture quality is top notch. sound quality for calls and music is lit.

There is something very wrong with this phone - the volume during calls is way too low !!
It is fine in the headphones, but !! Regular handheld calls - it is terrible. For a $600 phone, this is a blow !!

the ugliest design for the back of the camera that has ever been made, I certainly respect the choice, but compared to any other brand of phone, this looks more like a children's toy from 10 years ago, they need a redesign urgently, this one is a shame to take out of the pocket and that goes for everyone pixel phones
