functionality wise: harder to move app icon to the edge of screen, also prone to accidental press.
durability wise: making your screen easier to break, despite using cover case.

They seemed to have just vanished with last minute notice that it's stopping 😭 so I'm going to assume by the 6th year the updates will stop due to unforeseen changes.
