Google Pixel 8 teardown video already available

Following months of teasers, leaks and rumors, a few hours ago Google finally made the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro fully official, and started taking pre-orders for them. And already, there's a full teardown video for the Pixel 8, coming from YouTube channel PBKreviews.

The video goes into a detailed description of what you need to do in order to disassemble a Pixel 8, bit by bit, starting with a very simple step: taking out the SIM tray. That is, of course, the easiest step, it's all more complicated from there.

In the end, the Pixel 8 receives a 7 out of 10 reparability score, where 10 would be the easiest to repair and 1 would be the hardest. So it's not bad, but not very easy to dive into by yourself either.

The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch 1080x2400 120 Hz OLED screen, a 50 MP main rear camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 10.5 MP selfie snapper, the Google Tensor G3 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, and a 4,575 mAh battery with 27W wired and 18W wireless charging support. It runs Android 14.

That guy sounds like robot. Video is palyable but rather will use subtittles than hear robotic voice of some strange inhuman lifeless form.
