Very much sad to have it. It's only three months and troubles are plenty. The ringer volume mutes automatically, no ringer volume during whatsapp calling. Service centre is clueless as they have done factory reset twice but with no results. Google does not take any responsibility and insist on repairs by sending the phone to Master Service centre.
              Very much disappointed.

The only "downgrade" i can see if i purchase the S24 128GB/256GB is the slightly slower 25w charging and still no One UI 7 update.
And if i decide to get the S24 is it worth getting the faster 256GB with UFS 4.0?

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2025Day-to-day usage. Animations are nice even @ 60 Hz! 😮Of course unless you start experiencing with higher refresh rate.

                      This is a hypothetical question.
For someone who's looking to replace my Pixel 8 would you rather:
                      1. Keep the Pixel 8? (despite it's ageing hardware)
                      2. Get a Pixel 9?
                      3. Get a Pixel 9 Pro?
                      4. Wait for the Xiaomi 15 instead?
                      5. Get a Galaxy S24 instead and use my expiring discounts?

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2025🥲 Tbh, software-wise, it's the best experience I'... moreif the rumours and so-called leaks are true there are mostly upgrades of the Pixel 9a to the Pixel 8 apart from the glass protection, some "differences" with the display/screen quality, cameras, radios, slower charging and audio support. Highly likely if those turned out to be true then I will skip the 9a and go straight to a 9 or 9 Pro once i sold my Pixel 8.
I think stock-Android nowadays is not up to it when it comes to added features and specs apart from a top-notch camera system.
I still think some offerings from OnePlus and Motorola offer the best of both worlds which i heard is slowly translating to sales and good reviews. If only my Nord 3 had the Circle To Search feature which it mysteriously lacks after the Oxygen OS 15 update.

You are sure that its cameras give beautiful results compared to a SAMSUNG GALAXY A54 for example. For the moment it is the only argument that makes me hesitate to take it. Thank you

Tbh, software-wise, it's the best experience I've ever had, I dare say. Haters gonna hate, but when it comes to software, Pixels are right up there, maybe even matching iPhones, if not better. Never had issues with Google apps (Gboard, Maps, Photos etc.), no crashes, no slowdowns. Only culprit is Google Play Games. Yeah, that's kind of buggy.
I like the 9a a lot, but I'll have to buy it after a few months after release. € 499 is pretty steep. Really curious about battery life. 5100 mAh is main selling point for me.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2025Probably gonna end up with a (3a). Can't really afford... moreI have the Pixel 8 with me right now. But, after a few months of owning i'm yearning for a better, sharper, brighter screen, better speakers, 12Gb RAM, better battery life.
Rumours and leaks suggest the Nothing Phone 3a series would have dimensions that I don't like. If the leaks are accurate the Pixel 9a may be 70% same-old and 30% downgrade to a Pixel 8. The Xiaomi 15 is around the corner but pricing will be expensive.
I'll wait what Samsung has to offer with the A36 & A56 respectively. But Samsung being Samsung i expect the dimensions will be again bigger than last year which i despise.
For my old hands i feel that a Pixel 9 or a Xiaomi 15 or a Moto Edge 50 Neo are perfect sizes for me.
A Galaxy S "Plus" model" may be also good but the width and the weight are deal breakers for me. Having slow 25w chargers Samsung are a no go for me. The Ultra lineup is pricey.
I bought a OnePlus Nord 3 lately and even that i found it a tad big.

                                      8a is ~ € 400, 8 is € 500 and 9 is ~ € 750... Meanwhile, a (2a) is only € 320.
Yeah... I mean, I really like the software and the form factor. Cameras are great too, but... my 6a was ~ € 300 when I bought it. And I don't see that much improvement going for the 8a, not even 9a. I really hate the ideea that a € 300 Galaxy A55 has vapor chamber but a € 750 Pixel 9 doesn't. Talk about cheaping out, man. No one's asking the impossible, but... dunno. Really feels like very bad value to buy a Pixel nowadays. A shame too. I remember my first Pixel: the 3a. Now THAT was an amazing phone with amazing value. #tensorhastogo #bringbacksnapdragon

I'm happy to wait what Nothing will bring out to the table too with my aforementioned "requirements". The base Find X8 isn't available in my country. If the Pixel 9 had a permanent price drop then i may be tempted. What do you guys think?
