Phones costs an extra 0 (2000 instead of 200) to get less features. No hearphone jack or memory card holes. People listening to loud stuff in public are annoying, so yes you need the cable, since you lose overpriced earbuds anyway. I miss tft screens with a passion. Why make screens more bright with oled if you need a black background because it's unbearable. If that's the best that new phones have to offer, I'll keep my cracked phone from 2016 and my tablet which HAS A PEN!

This year Google is finally moving away from Samsung and its junk chip!!! And we will have a new SoC. I hope to return to Pixel with this year's Pixel 10, we'll see what it brings.

The only thing stands out is their spec on spec sheet.
I saw real life usage review on this device, the battery life was not great, price is not great either.
If I were you, I would pick more budget friendly option (not this pixel or OP13 either).
Perhaps, older OP or (more budget friendly models).

In love with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. It's such a smooth and fast productivity powerhouse - syncs effortlessly with my Pixel tablet, Pixel watch 3 and Pixel Buds A. Software experience, safety, security, build quality, camera, everything is top notch, the phone just glides like silk during multi tasking. Not a gamer, hence, cannot comment on it. Google is OG of Android and Pixel will always by the GOAT.

Look at teardown videos to see how the camera modules fit inside the device and you'll see that they're as flat as the technology allows at present, without pushing through the screen.

Bryan, 04 Jan 2025What is ufs 4.1 / 3.1 ?Universal Flash Storage, version number represent technological changes, advancements, improvements etc.
UFS 4.0 does indeed benchmark higher but the extreme majority of devices that have them cannot maintain the maximum numbers UFS 4.0/4.1 can offer.
The rest of tech isn't there yet.
This is why you see UFS 4.0 and 4.1 in very high end devices.
UFS 3.0/3.1 by comparison cannot reach the same benchmarks.
These are PERFORMANCE benchmarks however and never reflect actual daily use.
UFS 4.0/4.1 will give comparably unnoticeable performance difference in daily usage, gaming, editing etc. At least for another 2 years or so.
