I don't understand people crying over little things which are easy to solve, but overlooking major faults like bad chipset, poor battery, recycled (bad) camera hardware AND horrible software computation etc...

After paying over $1,000, a user will have to flash something so basic that a multi-billion-dollar company refuses to support it! And all this to imitate Apple's offerings, but even Apple has a double-tap on the back to lock the screen.

Seriously Google, I am so disappointed to just upgrade to my first 1st ever Pixel 9 Pro xl and the software is just so bad with no basic features such as above, I dunno what else is bad, seriously made a mistake to switch to Pixel, should have stuck with my S24U, I dunno what pixel fans rave about the software when it could not even do basic needed daily functions!

Really basic features I use everyday but a real pain to use on my Pixel 9pro XL. cant wait to get rid of it, my first try on a pixeel and last, no more Pixel again for me!
So ironic I thought Google should have better more user basic day to day friendly features but they are so bad that they dont even fix basic features which are a must IMHO 😞!

Well, I just sold my Galaxy S22 Ultra! I'm saying goodbye to Samsung for now. And tomorrow I'm back on Team Pixel with a new 512GB Pixel 6 Pro, waiting for Black Friday to trade it in for the 1TB Pixel 10 Pro XL. I'm sure I'll pay a lot less for the upgrade. You have to be smart with phones these days.

If that turns out to be true, we could see a significant leap in both performance and battery life.

As for the Pixel, I'd wait for the 10XL; it will have more battery and I read that it charges faster! As for the iPhone, I'm personally going to wait for the iPhone 19, which will be the anniversary iPhone, similar to the iPhone X in 2017, which changed everything...

How is the battery performance on this? I use the browser for reading and watch videos mostly, no gaming. Should I wait for 10 Pro XL if battery is something I value more? Either this or 16/17 Pro max. ( I'm done with samsung so no ultra)

But in all honesty, 499 for regular, 599 for pro and 699 for XL. The AI chops for the time being is hype. The 5 year of updates don’t mean much on a device that won’t last that long.

I am deeply sorry to say that Google makes the worst flagship phones with worst Tensor G4 chip. Even a mid ranger phones can beat in every task and plus even with 5060 mah battery it wont last more than 7 hrs SOT. Google should cut the price on their phones and increase the Charging speed. Plus at 1100$ no Titanium frame? Thats how over priced Pixel phones are. Google should stop making chipsets inhouse because they throttle so much.
PIXEL FANBOYS will be super mad now but its the truth.
