Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold names confirmed in certification papers
Google is preparing to launch at least four Pixel 9 phones, and today, we received a confirmation of the names of the two new flagships.
One of them will be called Pixel 9 Pro XL, while the other will be Pixel 9 Pro Fold, according to Canada's Radio Equipment List (REL) – an extensive publication of all radio equipment certified for use in the North American country.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be the successor of the Pixel 8 Pro - the largest member of the existing lineup. The last time we had an XL phone was in 2019 when the Pixel 4 XL was around.
We expect something similar to happen now - the Pixel 9 Pro XL will be a bigger version of the Pixel 9 Pro, which will be a new addition to the lineup.
The other phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, is simply the successor of the Pixel Fold; it is now just being renamed to align with the rest of the family.

Whatever hope the "fold" might have had was just lost with that ugly camera change. R.I.P.

Sorry but boring name, even more boring design and most boring are the specs. or vice versa design is the most boring here. Litterary even a 2-3 years old kid can make and devise a lot better looking device.
