Here's how to watch the Galaxy S25 Unpacked event live

Peter, 20 January 2025

Samsung is doing final preparations for tomorrow’s Galaxy Unpacked event that will bring the new Galaxy S25 series. The big show will be streamed live, so you can join us in experiencing the reveal live. Watch below:

You probably already have a pretty good idea of what upcoming S25 phones will be like. This close to the event, we’re still not 100% sure how it will be structured – will Samsung unveil three phones or four?

For a refresher on what (we think) is coming, you can read our What to Expect articles for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. We have a similar article for the Galaxy S25 Slim too.

That said, even if Samsung does unveil the S25 Slim tomorrow, we don’t expect to see it on pre-order soon. The main trio should go on pre-order right after the event is over – in fact, if you are in the US, you can already reserve a unit and get $50 Samsung Credit.

But the Slim might not arrive in stores for a few months and – depending on where you live – you may never see it in stores. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be sold in parts of Europe, Asia and Africa and a few other parts of the world, but crucially it will not be available in the US or Canada. We will be curious to hear why Samsung thinks this is the best strategy for the slender new model.

Anyway, we’ve been hearing news of price hikes, but it may not be as bad as it sounds – they may be limited to higher storage tiers. That’s just hearsay, of course, but if it’s true, then the traditional free storage upgrade during the pre-order phase may be a better deal than before.

We will have detailed coverage on the new Samsung Galaxy S25 flagships with breakdowns of all the new features, any changes in price and more, so have a look once the event is over.
