Only challenge I am facing is, no back cover available in Amazon or Flipkart (in India). Have to survive with what has been given along with the box.
If available anywhere (India), please share the link.
Thanks in advance.

Please note this feedback is after running 2 companies MDM profile - my company and my clients. And other personal apps. In total i have got 123 apps.

Anonymous, 04 Dec 2024Question for those who have used this phone -
Aside from... moreNo. Quality is substandard, and Only 2 years of os/3 years of security updates (from the time of global release, according to hmd). What's the point of having repairable/replaceable hardware when software support is short term.
The outfits are gimmicks & won't likely receive much attention or innovation, because hmd won't be able to sell many handsets due to the mediocrity of the phone & specs. Also, Motorola has already had a modular system in the past with their Z line. So this isn't some ground breaking innovation by hmd.
The moto g75 is priced the same, but has a much better chipset and longer software support. Same with the moto g55 that's actually more cheaper than the hmd fusion, but more powerful. Both these motos are offering a near stock android experience.

I've had this phone (8GB/256GB Business Edition) for couple of days now and I do like it so far. My last phone was Nokia 8.1 from HMD. I was worried about the screen and went to check this phone out in person to fiddle with it a bit. I couldn't find any noticeable difference to my previous Nokia and there was a bit more screen estate available in HMD Fusion. It feels good enough for this price. I spent about 10 minutes comparing it to Nokia 8.1 and HMD Skyline and decided to buy the Fusion Business Edition model.
I'm casual user of mobile phones. I don't play games or spend hours a day using it. I mostly browse web, watch a couple of hours of videos/streams in a week and use basic apps. I think the device fits well in the mid range phone category with 319€ price tag. We used to be able to buy high end mobile phones in this price range couple of years ago but sadly that's no longer the case.
I'm also mobile app/software developer and 3D printing enthusiast so the third selling point were those pogo pins and "outfits". The main selling points for me were almost stock android, five years of security updates and easy repairability.
When it comes to performance or snappiness I feel that it's very responsive and fast, the screen registers touch super well. There was almost four gigabytes of software updates that I had to do before setting the phone up properly. It's possible that some problems mentioned in these comments by others have been fixed in the latest updates since I haven't been able to find any bugs or problems with the device so far.
So far I'd give it 4.5/5 score. If you need to game on mobile and be glued to the screen all day I think you will have to look for phone in 600-1500€ price range. My personal view is that for features it offers at the price it's available they really thought this phone out well.

HeyDudes, 27 Nov 2024Do you like the phone? Thinking of trying one. I'm n... moreI think it is a distinctive device that is pleasant to use, however the HD+ screen and the weak GPU of the 4 Gen 2 chipset let it down.
It also depends what region you are in, Indian customers are receiving the 'Outfits' alongside the device whereas here in the UK/Europe the outfits are still not available and seem to be quite expensive.
While HMD have made the API accessible to devs, I also think the lack of SDK will limit potential outfits from either other businesses or a user community.

This phone has same issue as Nokia g42. Touch screen response is slow n laggy. Does not respond to touches taps properly. Very cheap screen is used. Frustrating to use. Touch response feels like 30hz an not usual 180hz as other phones.
I have same issue with call auto answering. Software update not yet fix. Very frustrating. Hard reset 2 times but same problem.

It says here and on official product pages that the HMD Fusion has wi-fi 6 (ax), yet the SOC itself supports only wi-fi 5. That is weird. And, yes, it does have a 3.5mm jack. A cousin of mine handled one in the UK; she and many reviewers have noted the presence of a 3.5mm jack.
One more thing to note: The Europe version supports esim. Whether the Indian variant also supports esim remains to be seen. However, there is no mention of esim support on the Indian product page. The Indian variant also supports far fewer frequency bands than the international variants.

It's kinda nice to see a modular smartphone with replacable parts, but it's pointless when the first thing I'd change is the SoC, which you can't change.

I really like the smart outfits idea but this is not a good phone... I hope they release a better version with a nicer screen and processor (and keep the card slot and headphone jack. If they do that I'm in. USB 2.0 on the pogo pins might be a limiting factor but shouldn't be a huge deal.
