4gb ram phone will lag and u wont easily multi task.
I had 4gb nokia g42, & wen i had blue light filter app, ad block app, vpn, work email client app and many more, i could not use all at same time. G42 would end the blue light filter app which i liked because screen was too blue. But g42 would also end process, & also end ad block app & my vpn app all the time. It become annoying. Always had to restart apps. I then sold & got 6gb model & could use all apps at same time no problems.
4gb ram shud be banned on android looool
6gb should be minimum for every new phone

Lagging is something some phone do while setting up especially at this price range, samsung a53 lagged a lot while i first set it up (for a family member as i will never buy something like samsung) and it costs 400 something euros, hack even some flagships that i set up were lagging at some point, or getting hot. As i've already told to the persone, afterwas set up and running lag will stop and performance plus bettery will get better. Yeah well, hmd devices were always rugh at the edges but got better in time.

Learn to read posts before commenting people!
Anyhow yes it is v important to read all specs before purchasing anything. Always read small print

Just because they do not sell the 4gb version in their official stores, it does not mean that it does not exist, so why are they to be blamed for your assumptions? When you buy something, you do not look at the fact of "why is it cheaper"? It might me a lot of reason, from lower hardware to refurbish devices. This is more like a life lesson then anything esle, and for sure this is not hmd's fault. Anyway, the device will settle down and oerfom better after you have set all up, just hive it some time and you will see an increse in performance and lagging will stop.

Absolute trash phone.
My local retailer had it at a cheaper price compared to the hmd website. I got excited and purchased it immediately. I set it up, and noticed lag and touch response delay. As i was going through transferring my data, i realized the model only has 4GB ram.
The retailer won't accept a return because I've opened the packaging and they're blaming me for not reading the specs before buying.
I told them I've read the specs on the HMD website and they only sell a 6GB (which i thought i had brought) and and 8GB ram model.
I was wrong.. HMD are shipping a 4GB ram model to some selected retailers.
4GB ram in 2024/2025 is absolutely PATHETIC. Why even have a 4GB model? What's the point When you can't even properly multi task. Can't use a VPN comfortably while using gps and social media apps, without the aggressive ram management closing down some of the apps when app switching.
I'm now left with an underpowered laggy brick which i will try to sell.
I hate HMD for this, and i won't be buying anything else from them again. For the same price, i could have got a different branded phone that comes with 8GB ram, but i chose to stick with European hmd. Big mistake. They've lost a customer for good.

sd4 g2 is lot better than mtk chips up near 900. very good budget phone

Recently bought this phone(HMD Fusion)... It answers all calls automatically.
I've tried all settings. I've done several factory reset... Still can't resolve the issue. Both SIMs pickup calls automatically.
Please how do I stop this?
PS. Called service provider but issue not from their side. The Same Sim card works fine with other phones.

If they have only upped mainly the SoC like latest SD6 gen2/3(not those garbage S) the least or latest Dimensity 7XXX that are capable of upto 4k recording this would've been an excellent phone.

Just like with the cmf phone, the only good thing about this phone is that it shows that you can put screws on the back of a phone without it looking ugly
