BlahBlah, 07 Jun 2024I think so too!
HMD Global and HMD Nokia made the best ... moreYou really need to analyse my comments well before thinking I support HMD for each and every action.
First of all, my personal phone (Nokia 8) was never a burden, and so are the phones I had bought for my relatives who can't afford a decent phone as much as I can. None of them have failed, unlike the bunch of Samsung phones I was handed down by my colleagues when I couldn't afford a replacement to my beloved Galaxy J3 with its plethora of hardware issues.
In case you haven't noticed, I've criticized the starting prices of X series phones in their respective articles. You may refer to them. If GSMArena moderation has taken them down, the blame is on their moderation. But you can't deny how well the X30 is built in comparison to phones twice or higher than its price point with acrylic backs and "metal-looking" frames. Especially every flagship today that don't feel premium as what the price tag suggests.
Also, HMD isn't far off from what Nokia would do today with the scarce amounts of resources available. I don't necessarily support the main company itself, because the team's response to the slab revolution in the smartphone industry didn't execute well. Hadn't it been ruined by Microsoft with supply chain issues, HMD would've had a much better starting point, as most people measure a brand's potential by the surface.
I'm completely sure you haven't used a single phone from HMD, hence why I find your comment quite tone-deaf.
Always make sure to read comments of those users and have an idea before giving your comment. The posting rules here specifically mentions "use common sense". While not everyone can be perfect here in terms of technical knowledge, let's make each and every moment here to learn and thrive.

BlahBlah, 07 Jun 2024I think so too! HMD Global and HMD Nokia made the best ... moreMy Motorola died so I'm using my old Nokia 7+ as a substitute. It was a well performing phone. But most of all I find it beautiful.

No known brand has rated their slow charging small battery so low. Fixed it for ya.

HMD Global and HMD Nokia made the best Android phones out there!!! (I'm obviously joking)
Look at the Nokia X30 for example, the phone you have/had. So much freedom and "repairibilitty" at such a affordable price. (500€ MSRP) (again i'm just joking, but it could easily be the best all rounded phone HMD ever made with a Nokia name)
Some people like to live in their echo chambers. Meaning they will inform them self only about positive news and things about items they like, but totally ignore the negative ones.
"The last Europian phone brand"
(Oh.. just rememberd, Nothing brand is from UK)
Noone is even CLOSE to what HMD or Nokia under HMD umbrella were doing with their phones all these years.
Am i right? Minu, Carol? Give me ❤️❤️❤️😎
Okay, jokes a side... I admire your fanboyism, it reminds me on days in early 2000's when my friend and i was a hard core phone lovers and we even joined Nokia Fan Club even our country wasn't suppored by Nokia, but we made it somehow and got a real card from Nokia with our names. Great times...
But unfortunatelly from my experience, not a single "Nokia" phone was worth buying and i was really patient what to buy after Windows mobile colapsed... And afyer so many years of being a Nokia fan.
So i gave up waitting and left for LG, and then later Xperia and Pixel.
It seems i like phone brands who are somewhat doomed.... Like OG Nokia died, the same as LG. And Xperia is not going too great these days either.

Disappointed to find the Vibe includes more unnecessary preinstalled apps than HMD's Nokia-branded phones did. Extra disappointed to find that Facebook is a system app and can't be uninstalled.

Seems kind of overpriced, for the exact same price you can get a Moto G Play 2024 with similar specs but with a fingerprint scanner and a better camera although the Vibe has more ram and double the storage of the Motorola.

Dom, 25 Apr 2024To be fair, the iPhone 13 has comparable specs (3240mAh vs ... more800 cycles rating is actually very good, and no known brand has rated their battery so high, 800 it means 2 yearsbof full battery recharging without, or with very small capacity loss, inform yourself properly before talking. As for the comparison to iphone, really? Compare a 250$ device with an 1000$ device? That's actually not even that good, for the price? This might not be the best optimised device in the world but it has something that iphones will never have, freedom and real repairability.

Very bad feature choice, should have 3G only chipset as nobody will use 4G and 5G in next 500 years.

Schetenlater , 24 Apr 2024They do it to upset you and laugh at you afterwards And we laugh at them when they go bankrupt, we also laugh at their users who wasted 180USD to buy E Waste HMD phones while we use our 180USD to buy 2nd hand refurbished flagships or good value low end phones with beautiful specs and far better processors.

HMD is in their flop era (At least the processor isn’t as bad as the pulse)

BitPlus, 24 Apr 20244000 mah? 10w charging? 13mp? Cmon man, it's not 2020To be fair, the iPhone 13 has comparable specs (3240mAh vs 4000mAh, 15W vs 10W, 12mp vs 13mp), but I highly doubt the HMD will make better use of its specs than the iPhone. The pulse’s battery was only rated for 800 cycles, so it’s safe to assume the vibe’s will be similarly bad. And there’s no way HMD used a high quality 13mp sensor. The only things this phone has going for it are that its processor isn’t as painfully slow as the pulse’s and that it’s repairable, but that doesn’t mean much when its battery and processor aren’t designed to last for more than 2 years (which is also how long it’s getting updates for).

BitPlus, 24 Apr 20244000 mah? 10w charging? 13mp? Cmon man, it's not 20202020? These are 2018 specs. Aside from the bigger battery and more ram, my LG Stylo 4 is way better than this alongside with 1080p display.
