Hold on tight to your Google Pixel 3 because Google can't repair it right now [Updated]

[Update]: A uBreakiFix representative got in touch with us regarding the issue described below, and here's what she had to say:

In full transparency, there is temporarily a limited quantity of OEM Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL screens, and we expect to have these parts available at every uBreakiFix location for same-day repairs in the coming weeks. To clarify, uBreakiFix stores are currently able to overnight these parts from our distribution center, and that's what you and your readers can expect until there's adequate supply at every store, which will then enable us to provide same-day repair service for these devices. We've outlined this process to all of our stores, and we want to make sure your readers are aware that they can get their Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices taken care of.

Original article follows.

It's been almost a month now, Google's latest Pixel 3 and 3 XL phones are on the streets and some users just like the feel of the frosted glass back and don't want to ruin their experience with a screen protector. But a case and screen protector might be prudent as numerous reports over the internet say that Google can't fix their broken Pixels.

If you happen to be one of those users, you better think twice because breaking the back or the front of panel of your Pixel 3 or 3 XL would result in weeks or even months in a limbo before Google can take care of the broken handset. Even Google's uBreakiFix partners that service its phones doesn't seem to be of anyone's help either as the firm says it doesn't know when the spare parts will arrive. As of now, it can only get a hold of the battery.

Some owners on Reddit say they have to wait a month before uBreakiFix can accept their phone for repairs, which is downright disappointing because, after all, you buy a premium flagship phone with virtually non-existent out-of-warranty customer support.

However, if you are having issues that are covered by the warranty, Google will gladly help you with that.

Never though of this , but I think your right on the money google did Berger with the Nexus line both of which they never designed..

I mostly agree with you.

Pixel 2 and 2XL had problems. I had hoped that the Pixel 3 and 3XL would be hassel free, and good alternatives to the S9 and S9+. Apparently (per GSM Arena's reviews), the Pixel 3 duo is not ready for primetime. I'd rather wait until for 2019 flagsh...
