Pixel 2 and 2XL had problems. I had hoped that the Pixel 3 and 3XL would be hassel free, and good alternatives to the S9 and S9+. Apparently (per GSM Arena's reviews), the Pixel 3 duo is not ready for primetime. I'd rather wait until for 2019 flagships (Pixel 4 included) to go out and buy a handset. The 845 SoC is too battery hungry on my coral blue S9. I am considering Sony, LG, and maybe, just maybe, a Pixel 4. Cheers all!

Look at the fans shelling out $$$ to Google while getting subpar handset and service. I don't see why Google should put any more effort. People are willingly giving them money.

Indian-led company fails at QC and releases inferior products. Reminds me of a company that I used to work for and are now out of business.

I love the pixel line of phones, I think that they're great, but all of the hardware related issues on them are clearly indicative of Google's inability to manage large-scale hardware production. I'm so scared of dropping $700+ on a phone only to have a less than perfect user experience. They should team up with Nokia or OnePlus and just have them develop their Pixel line and focus on what they do best: software and software integration. I would think that a marriage between Google and Nokia would make the most sense. Nokia has released a solid number of really great Android phones and even though it's a "dead" brand compared to other Smartphone giants, Nokia has always had stand-out hardware designs, legendary durability, and hold a soft spot in the hearts of mobile phone fans. Not to mention they excel at something that other cell phone manufacturers (with the exception of Motorola) CALL QUALITY. They're actually good to use as PHONES and not just pocket multimedia devices. Nokia and Google would be such a smash success for the Pixel line.

Whackcar, 09 Nov 2018They got the camera wrong too. It's not acceptable for a fl... moreYep, still one single camera on their Pixel, but I wouldn't blame them that much, the camera software improvements made it one of the best smartphone cameras again. At least, this is much more acceptable than Sony still sticking with one camera on their high-end flagships, other than the XPERIA XZ2 PREMIUM being the only Sony smartphone to come with a dual camera setup, because their camera software is high up there in the skies, unlike Sony's. Even bokeh shots are much more pleasing on the Pixel 3 as compared to the XPERIA XZ3 man...

Just perceived mine .it's stunning. For similar physical real-estate than HTC A 9, but larger screen, I feels thinner so I got a case to protect investment. Worth it. Side bezel is thinner than A 9. Great job antics lots of character.

This is exactly why I don't want pixel device. You are spending so much for a device for poor after sales support

Sushant Sic, 09 Nov 2018The Phones were leaking for about 5 months before it finall... moreThey got the camera wrong too. It's not acceptable for a flagship phone in 2018 to come without at least a proper dual-camera setup (Normal+Tele or Normal+Wide).
To add insult to injury, they have reused the exact same camera hardware as the Pixel 2. Only software improvements (most of which are getting ported to older Pixels).

Lack of spare parts could be due to massive demands of those parts or maybe their repair team has alot of work iykwim
