I am back with a short review. The performance is the same, although I managed to have a higher score on antutu 210000 >208000 but it feels as smooth as it was before. Camera is the same quality, there are some design changes on clock, face unlock . But there is a drawback I don't like. The app lock prevents you to see a preview of your notification on the bar and lock screen. After you unlock your app and not turn off your screen you can see it, if you didn't access the notification yet. Otherwise will not be there anymore to check it.

Ortizz, 02 Aug 2019I have worst battery experience with 9.1 update.Updated to EMUI 9.1. Battery life has certainly decreased. In a day, it is down by 10% and thats with usage the same as before the "upgrade". Is anyone else experiencing the same?

My local dealer recommends that I wait for the 9.1 EMUI update, and if that doesn't help then reset the phone. What do you think about that? Do you have any other suggestion what I could do?

I have one problem, I hope you can help me. I unlock my phone with a fingerprint sensor and a pin code, which of course you can't get rid of. But it happens that the option of unlocking the phone via a pin code is lost so that anyone can unlock my phone, the fingerprint sensor practically becomes an insignificant protection. I haven't had this problem until now, it came up today. I have not yet received the EMUI 9.1 update. Is this because of it or is it a problem of some other nature? Thanks to everyone in advance who can help me.

Upgraded to EMUI 9.1 available in India. Can see improvement in opening apps and play video. No, battery drain issue. Now, we can restrict background data for each apps separately. That will save your Battery and RAM further. Waiting for EMUI 10 upgrade (i.e magic UI 3.0)
