                cheers

Nothing's disorganized and I can easily find the settings, apps or features I want to find because I'm used to MIUI. I personally never used a Honor or Huawei, so I can't speak the same for EMUI, HarmonyOS, and MagicOS.

But just like what I stated earlier with my previous comment, you can easily turn off the ads on MIUI and HyperOS. Yeah it requires a few extra steps, but it's not a huge deal breaker at all.

If you're going to keep discrediting Xiaomi because you don't like their software, go ahead, I won't bother you any longer. Just remember that Honor wouldn't be as good as they are today if it weren't for Xiaomi, and Xiaomi is still selling significantly more phones than Honor.

I also have a Xiaomi redmi note 8 pearl white that I bought for my wife for 35 years of marriage, maybe you are not that old personally, the phone has a nice design, excellent screen and battery, but the OS is poorly made and unorganized, messy.
With my Honor 8X everything is where it should be and works smoothly without lagging and there are no annoying ads, certainly if the note 8 had a better OS then it would be great, this old man has passed through many phones, even a pager when there were no cell phones~ well if not you know what a pager is, then google it ~ but your sarcasm is inappropriate and disrespectful to the elderly, but despite that, I send you my greetings

The ads themselves can be easily turned off in the settings of each individual first-party app like Security and Themes.

And guess what old man? My old Pocophone F1 from 2018 still works flawlessly even today. No slowdowns and no stutters whatsoever.

I currently use a Poco X6 Pro, which is blazing fast and has decent enough battery to last for an entire day. What are you going to say about that?

No disrespect but one's experience on a lemon doesn't mean that the phone model of the brand is bad. Sure thing even Apple had its issues like in my case, an Apple iPad Mini 2 had gyroscope sensor issues out of the box and has to wait more than a month for Apple to replace the defective unit. Had screen discoloration issues with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and had my unit replaced twice by Huawei until I got a unit with a flawless screen but I never ceased from buying Huawei until the Mate 30 Pro.

As for Honor, the X9b had screen green line issues too so does Samsung Note 7 which had explosion issues. Bottomline, no manufacturer can claim 100% defect free these are after all mass manufactured electronics.
