Let me help you, he asked "this or mi 14" guess which device will win if you compare flagship with a midrange of the same year 2023-24? So why are you so hurt about hearing mi 14 is superior just because *drumrolls* it's a flagship device among the two. "Solid brand on earth" again, speaking out of your behind saying stuff which was never said and being a karen about it, let me make it easy for you, it's a solid brand between the two options the OP stated. How many options were their to choose from in the question itself, is it 2 or more? So basically you called someone hater for expressing their opinion between the only two choices, smart! I don't own 200 pro because I am not Elon Musk, I steer clear of brands if I have bad experience with them even after 3 devices, I give 3 chances but I am not fool enough to give a company fourth chance, that's not called being a hater that's called being smart. Also how can you say two contradictory statements one after another after another in continuation, "1) just because it happened to you doesn't mean it will happen to everybody. 2) you would've believed if 200 pro died but 3) one person's bad experience doesn't mean brand is bad and should be boycotted?" Huh? You wouldnt believe if I had 200 pro died on me because it's one person's experience or would you believe? Make it make sense bruh.

You talk as if Xiaomi has never had quality issues. Just because it happened to you it means that it will happen to each and every user. I have had more phones than you from Nokia. Sony, Apple, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc. Please do not act as if you're the only one with experience here with multiple brands/devices. I say hater because you compared a flagship phone to midrange then tried to make it appear Xiaomi is the only solidly-built brand on earth. No need to be onion-skinned about it because it is obvious that you're posting in this thread to discredit Honor when you don't even own the 200 Pro. I would have believed your argument if you had the 200 Pro and it died in your possession. One person's bad experience with a certain brand doesn't mean the brand is general is already bad and should be boycotted by all consumers. Common.

I still own lumia 1020, xperia xa1, nokia n97, n83, samsung galaxy s3 etc, they all work, don't have any scratch, with box and invoice. Never hated huawei or honor devices. You can buy any for all I care, not getting any commission or anything. Calling someone a hater for sharing their personal experience is a bit toxic. Btw, yes I am serious for comparing a flagship with a mid range device because the other guys asked for the comparison, duh! Is conversations always this hard for you? Instead of criticism regarding a reply to a comment you so graciously ignored and didn't bother to comment on, maybe ask the guy asking the question if he is seriously comparing these two and if 100$ difference is alot then why even ask this question? Common sense isn't so common afterall.

Masakiejji, 04 Sep 2024The price difference between them is $100 in iraq Xiaomi's software implementation is poor and optimization is way behind Honor. I doubt if I will ever but Xiaomi's again coz it is almost always overheating and software updates are one of the poorest in the business with no regularity snd reliability.

Masakiejji, 03 Sep 2024Guys this or Xiaomi 14 Mi 14. Much superior than honor. Honor was good until it was under huawei. I have mi max 2 which still works and is being used. I had honor 6 and honor play both stopped working around their warranty period.

For South East Asia, Honor confirmed that Software Update is only up to 2 years of Major Upgrade and 3 years of Software Patches. Disappointing as its competitors are offering almost twice these for nearly the same prices.
Overall, device feels premium, performance and camera is amazing. However, I recommend people to rethink purchasing if you are looking for long term software support.

Hopefully, Honor will release their AI eraser (Photo Editor) sooner than later. It is the only thing missing on this phone since most of its competitors already have it out of the box.

One of the most balanced phones I have used over the last 2-3 years. Great cameras, signal reception so much better than the S22U, S23U and A55 and mobile data speeds is so much better compared to the Samsungs. I personally do not like China-exclusive units normally they do not support bands from other regions which makes reception poorer than Global units.

I do not know why you are concern with that since it is a high end phone.

GSMArena should update their review on the battery life of the Honor 200 Pro. It is definitely more than their 11 hours claim in their initial review. I am getting much longer battery life than what they've gotten in their initial review maybe in the high 12 hours plus. Also, it also forgot to mention that night mode doesn't have a toggle on the camera app's interface but it automatically activates in low light so no need for a toggle since the phone camera automatically detects if it needs to activate night mode.

The thin profile is good for thermals as Honor did try to lower the clocks a bit compared to other SD 8SGen3 phones during demanding use. I have no complaints about the thermals.
