the CHE2-L11, I had for the past 5 months has several issues.
1. SMS will light up the screen. (only soluion was to update the os to lollipop)
2. Viber notifications will not light up the LED. (No solution even huawei said after the upgrade to lollipop it should fix)
3. The worst part, in Dialog 3G, the battery drains 25% in 6 hours in idle (NOTE:- no sync apps, Again NOTE even just after a factory RESET still the same--- where the local dealer - Singer does not believe it)

I think you can ask your local huawei dealer or huawei it self to do it for you as otherwise just in case something goes wrong, there might be issues with waranttee.

I wanna ask on how am I going to upgrade my huawei honor 4x to lollipop version? its still stuck on kitkat o.s., i'm trying to search for update but nothing appears. I just bought my phone yesterday. can anyone help me? thankyou!

This is a good phone with a good battery life.
There are some issues that comes with this phone which are not yet fixed by Huawei.
1. Battery usage is very low for one network service provider. (This cannot happen for Dialog because they have a good coverage and with the same SIM for other phones like honor 3C , Y300, the battery backup is more than 2days.) SO I GUESS THIS IS A FAULT WITH THE HONOR 4X
2. Viber notifications doesnt indicated by the notification LED. -- This seems to be fixed buy HUAWEI, but no idea when they are going to fix it.
Other than the above issues, I dont have any problem with the phone. But most importantly I dont get the enough battery with my service provider so until that is fixed I hate this huawei.

mihiharshana, 27 Dec 2015I doubt it is something related with your mobile network pr... moreThe mobile network provider suspect that it is a fault with the device as they have not recieved any complain like battery drain in 3G network and the team there confirms that the network is optimized. Even the technical team confirmed that they have tested the SIM cards.

Huawei, Singer you guys are passing the ball. This is my 3rd time I had to visit you guys today to handover the phone with the same issue.

Other than than I could disable the gmail, as phone notified that gmail was using more power.
As I have still have the issue with my mobile network provider I asked the local agent to test it and give me a proper solution.

no problem till now..worth for money...im upgraded to lolipop...no problems for updates...
if your phone is heating up and battery drains fast try to create a folder named (.nomedia) in sd card and phone storage with any 3rd party file manager
another solution is delete/hide videos which doesnt loading thumbnail in gallery.....
Try both friends if the problem persists plz go to huwei care

It involves downloading the correct update package from hihonor, be sure to check with your build number, or the update will fail. Copy it to your sd card and open the updater on the phone. There is an option called local update. Locate the update file and start the update (P.S. Advisable to take backups of the data). Good luck. More details can be found on google. Type in the build number (Che*-L**C***B***) to get specific results.
