Im wondering whether its because both sims are capable of 4g therefore only one can work. So if I replace one of the sims with a sim that doesn't allow 4g,would it work correctly as dual active phone?

This is one of the coolest (literally) smartphone out there. I don't know what Huawei did with their Kirin chipset but this phone doesn't generate too much heat even when gaming.

Charlie, 11 Sep 2015John, thanks for your comment - I was just about to buy thi... moreactually it is hybrid phone. Hybrid phone stand for where second sim you can insert either sim card or external memory ONCE at a time. If you put a sim card on second slot, then external memory cannot be put on.

Brilliant phone, could actually conservatively use this phone for 2 days without needing a charge. Even using this phone really intensely for one day, you'd still be left with like 40% - very pleased!

Does this phone actually have two sim slots or it has one slim slots. I just don't understand why they advertise it as dual when it's single?
