Right now I need a new phone. I'm a heavy use... moreThe 6x is a very camera-centric phone - dual rear cam - with more than adequate performance, I'd stay away from the Honor 7 as - mentioned several times below - not getting upgraded to EMUI 5/Android 7.
Also, further note, I was looking at this phone in June 2014 in a 3 shop (UK) so GA's release date is for some reason wrong.

In day light is super but in night average performance and it is 2 years old model and not upgrading software fir flagship.

I've been searching for a good phone to buy with the amount of 250 or 300 euros maximum. and so far this phone is impressing me, the fingerprint swipe features sound really cool! although i'm not really satisfied with the camera test samples i found on the net, and kinda disappointed since i read that it's not gonna get an upgrade to Nougat. But I still think that it's a better option than the rest. Sony Xperia M5 is really really impressive but everyone says that it keeps shutting down and it's not waterproof, so i just removed it from the list.
Anyways, I wanna ask the users if the phone has LED lights notifications? and can you record a video using both the front and rear camera? also can you take pictures while recording a video?

Refer my post below. Huawei/Honor have conveniently forgotten and sidelined Honor 7, which is as good as cheating. There is no word from huawei or Honor about upgrading of honor 7 to nougat 7.When honor 7 was launched they had announced that honor7 would be regularly updated for 2 years. So better shift to some other phone

I've been a big fan of Honor series. Started with Honor 6 and then upgraded to Honor 7. Still continuing with it cause haven't found any reason to upgrade yet. BUT the fact that the Honor is not even upgrading their last gen flagship to nougat is seriously messed up. So first they launched a flagship with last gen version, lollipop for Honor 7 & marshmallow for Honor 8. Then they take a few months to upgraded it to the current one. And by the time the next version is launched its time for their next flagship so they repeat the cycle.
Sorry for the rant but it really pissed me off.

Those who are interested in buying honor 7 phone must note that Honor 7 will not get any update for nougat 7 nor for emui 5.So think twice before buying. Also note I had twice sent mails to huawei/honor and both times I was informed that huawei/honor is not having any upgradation plan for honor 7 . Pl.note this fact.
