huawei isa overpriced nowadays. low chipset for the price. poco or xiaomi at that price is high end chipset.

I often change phones and this one is great value for money. Before I had Samsung A52 and it's incomparable. Samsung antennas are very bad, camera is good, but you lose BT connectivity if you are more than 2 meters away. Where I had no Wi-Fi signal, now I use it without any problems. Visually phone looks premium, cameras are great, although there should be OIS. My Samsung S21 FE also has connectivity issues, and in hand seems heavier than Honor, but cameras are better. I don't miss water resistance. Samsung phones back panel scratches easily.
Software is fair and everything just works as it should. Almost all apps can be deleted or disabled so you don’t have to use ADB. I still miss my Huawei P20 Pro and this is the same thing but with much better battery life and design. Google camera works, but you don’t get big improvement. It’s hard to tell which picture is taken with stock camera app or gcam. Samsung should learn how to properly install fingerprint sensor. It’s very fast, and you can set 5 fingers, not 3.
Personally, Xiaomi has best value for money ratio and I had Poco F3 for the same price. It’s also fantastic phone but when you hit a wall with proximity sensor it becomes useless. Now my children use it because it’s not an issue for them but was a deal breaker for me.
Anyway, this is a phone I can easily recommend to anyone that takes care of it. If you drop it a lot or carry it in a purse with keys... maybe, it’s not the best choice.

However, I believe that both you and me must be using old phones, because all the OLED phones I own with these flaws are from 2016-2019.
I've never owned any newer phones so I cannot judge for sure that OLED is still like this on today's devices. Maybe some still are, but I've seen pictures of other OLED phones from this year with pretty accurate whites, so I'm looking forward to the future of OLED.
Unfortunately good LCD panels are a lost cause nowadays, they stopped making good ones that goes no brighter than 600 nits. Still enjoying the hell outta the 900 nit IPS panel on my LG G7 👌

The bezels are soo slim on this phone! And I like that the display is just slightly curved but not overdone like on the Magic4 Pro. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
