AnonD-683115, 08 Jul 2017Is this phone still worth buying?For Budget phone, Yes. but for High specs phone. i think you must go to Honor 8 Pro or Huawei Honor 9. especially the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 Rumor said October.

    Honor 9 ,honor 8 pro sure they have latest chip (kirin 960) wich is good i love heavy gaming but what if i could not manage to get them i mean honor 9 is available in few regions (is it available in austrelia ? ) and 8 pro is a bit expensive
    So is honor 8 good enough in performince (for heavy gaming etc)
    I want to say ( honor 8 is a good phone killer desine , beauti and the beast but ) evryone think as me after the new faster chip older is it a bit slower then my expectations ? Lol 😂😂 is honor 8 fast enough for my haeavy games and future games
    Any tips any suggestions ?

        Recently i updated my honor 8 device to FRD- L02C675B330, and after the update my hotspot has stopped working.
        and whenever I'm calling in Jio's no, the call drops and disconnect just after one ring.
        and this does not happen whenever I call any non-Jio's user.
        All this does not use to happen before the update.
        What should I do now ? Kindly help.

            Fireluna, 07 Jul 2017My question is, this phone has duel camera , but why it doe... morenot all DUAL Camera have dual Setting. some is wide. some is Color accurate, while the other is zoom like Oneplus 5. The setting of other phone like what you said is Wide. While in Honor 8 is Color Accurate more like a censor. and also regarding to the RUMOR. Huawei Mate 10 2nd cam is AR.

            DONT Expect every Dual Cam got same Setting.

                My question is, this phone has duel camera , but why it does not have a portrait mode like of iPhone 7 plus and Xiaomi mi 6 ? And will the portrait mode be available after any update ?

                              they have different OS so that means. theres some apps that android can run but apple cant. and theres some apps that apple can run but Android cant.

                              but if you are comparing them to Hardware. Pick Iphone. they got premium Hardware.

ThanksTotal Yes expect to the game that design for Tegra. they are powerfull only Tegra can run them. NBA 2k17 Max setting running smooth. but if you are a Gamer and always want a latest game then you think you have more budget. go to Honor 9 they got much higher GPU.. and this is that good choice for you always pick Mali GPU because more developer design their game in Mali.
                                Mali use in Mediatek, kirin and Exynos. unlike Adreno only Snapdragon can use. so Developer of game pick where they got more user.

                                  Just got the Honor 8 FRD-L19 dual sim 64 GB model. Trying to upgrade to Nougat 7 but says no update available. Tried for two days but still nothing. Can anyone suggest why i am not getting the update and how to update.
