I own this phon and i can say after 6 months of usage that ists perfect, my friend own s7edge and we noticed that after some time that phone is slower in daily usage, and after i installed last update (few days ago ) they polished softwere and battery last longer and whole sistem is more fluid

I want to screen lock my phone without using power button, I also installed one app, bt after doing my finger print it again wats the pin code, I dont like to use the PIN everytime to unlock the phone rather only want to use fingerprint please help me

I never really thought about sound quality on phones, but using my previous phones (iPhones in a row up to 7) people were always complaining when I was in a windy or noisy place... With Honor 8 I start apologizing for the background noise when there is huge traffic, but then the person on the other end of the line would say they can hear me clearly, no noise. So I guess the noise cancellation is great on this one.
I also really enjoy the camera, it beats some standalone cameras, too.
Handy features to guard the battery life, detailed yet easy to read stats on which app uses how much, so it was really easy for me to set up the phone in a way that it can last me for days with medium use.
While I love the look and feel of the phone, the glass back and front makes it vulnerable (though it worked with heavily shattered screen, too, before I got it repaired). Get a proper case for it from day one if you buy this.

Buy a new phone i ha... moreOwn and tried Honor 8 myself,honestly the phone did a great job.Kirin 950 still blazing fast,the graphic while not pack much horsepower on it still perform faster than Adreno 506.Snapdragon SoC was good,SD625 was popular in battery focus smartphone and the GPU did a good job.But you're after for performance,Honor 8 will never let you down.Camera was spectacular on lowlight,play with the Pro Mode and you'll get a pretty good result on it.

Adnan, 14 May 2017yes it has a fast charging feature. 47 % in 30 minutes charge.I have an Honor 8 and it is not true in my case. It is not 47% in 10mins. It's about between 30-40% in 30 mins.

when it comes to camera, honor 8 got better color in camera capture but when it comes to video asus got 4k video record.
battery i think both fine i go to many blog theres only normal complain well its basic.
in build quality Honor 8 is tested by JerryRigeverything in Youtube and he amaze about the phone built. even the fingerprint sensor scratch badly its still working 100% unlike asus i saw some complain even wet hand will not work. and also asus is not honest in their build. Jerryrigeverything test one of their premium phone zenfone 3 deluxe that said full metal but after opened it inside . the side of deluxe is Plastic.
Why not wait for Honor 9, theres a rumor that it will release with latest Processor. with 6gb Ram but the price is Almost near at Honor 8 but the build quality still untested.
