David, 29 Jan 2017Hey guys. I want to buy this phone because it looks awesome... moreThe main problem with this phone is that it has a fragile build. You need a case and a tempered screen protector. Also, in terms of gaming, it's not the best option though it does run the latest games well. The graphics processor on this device is weaker than that on Qualcomm 8xx processors for example. Finally, the battery life isn't great. It's not bad, but if you are running intensive apps (in particular games), the battery will drain rather quickly. Standby drain though is minimal.
Some people also complain about the UI. For me, the UI is definitely workable, plus it offers several very useful features (like scheduling turn off/turn on of the device, or quiet periods, ... ).

Hey guys. I want to buy this phone because it looks awesome and has pretty good specifications so I'm wondering if there is anything wrong with this phone?
I'm currently using s5 mini so this is a great upgrade;)

I switched from samsung note edge to honor 8. This phone is fast, attractive with good megapixels in low price. Battery timing is better than other devices. Users option is useful for having different apps in the same phone twice or thrice. Overall best smartphone so far for me.

rjk, 25 Jan 2017honor 8 is dual sim or single simIt is dual sim. I did not read instructions but it seems that when you add sd card to expand storage area then it becomes only single sim since sd card is going across the second sim card area...

rich watarious, 26 Jan 2017I am beginning to love 5'5 of phones or even 5'7 so I wish ... moreU can buy honor 8 note same but 6" but as my preference i love to use a size like 5.4" its not too small or not too big n I think it'll sit comfortable in hand too but surprisingly there is no 5.4 or 5.3" flagship devices ...

tim, 24 Jan 2017hmmm.....honor 8 or huawei p9??? guy help me...Honor8. Same mali-t880 GPU, size and similar cpu speed. If you want a better camera, then p9. Otherwise I would choose honor8 for its less expensive price of $400 in us. I just played with the phone in a bestbuy store and had 10 apps open, including graphics/CPU intensive pokemon go game, no problem switching between the apps. Of the 4g RAM, about 1.8g was available with all apps open. Excellent phone. Amazon sells one variant at $350 with 32g storage but you can a 32gb SD card to double the space for $20, cheaper than buying the 64gb version phone for $410 to $440.

Martin, 23 Jan 2017brand new xperia x compact for 250euros or brand new honor ... moreThe honor is quite slippery and on the other hand its got more ram than the sony,if you like dual camera and fingerprint scanner then go for the honor, if you like more memory and megapixels go for the sony(my opinion)
