It fell of and one of the corners took the hit. It got an ugly scratch but I'm surprised no class was cracked. It's good build and it can really take a hit!
I recommend the honor 8 official view case :) it's sleek and you get good protection.

I dont always write a review, but now I am compelled to after having this phone for 2 days. I bought this phone because it's one of the very few dual-sim phones I can find in the country where I am now. I got the 64MB Gold finish. It was pretty and awesome as far as smartphone features are concern, I thought I got more than my money's worth buying this phone. But Honor 8 has a very fr*ckin' slippery finish!! It's unbelievably slippery!! It slides off of any surface that is at more (or less) than 0 degree angle! And one slip off of a flat, seemingly level surface, next thing I know is it was kissing our bathroom floor! Leaving 8 ugly bumps/scratches on the side, AND THAT IS ONLY AFTER HAVING THIS PHONE FOR 2 DAYS!!! If you're buying this phone, be sure to buy some sort of cover to keep it from slipping off surfaces, or protect it from bumps/scratches when it does... :(

It is the best mobile I've ever bought so far .... very fast very very fast .... I read one comment about the gps and how glitching it is so I tried it myself and it's great and fast responding. I intentionally changed the route and it was rerouting very fast ... screen is very crisp and clear ... it is solid and high quality in every sense. You will NEVER regret buying it. It's worth every cent you pay. I mean what do you need more it has everything. Very stylish as well. Enjoy owning one. Highly recommended.

Honor 8 has standard features that a lot of phones costing less offer. Dual camera is a gimmick and the photography is very marginally better -- not so much as to pay 30,000 Rupees in India. It does not support VoLTE and the Huawei people I rang up a quite clueless whether VoLTE is coming or not. If you are really interested, wait till 2017 June-July -- you will see great phones, including some from Nokia. Chinese companies release phones and do not offer support. Look at Lenovo Vibe X3!
