Honor 8 is $80 off today only

If you've been eyeing up Huawei's Honor 8 but haven't bought one yet, perhaps today is the day to do the deed. To make your decision easier, the Chinese company has decided to shave $80 off the phone's price, as a Valentine's Day special offer. Since this is Valentine's themed, it's only valid today, however - so you need to act fast if you want to take advantage of the deal.

It's the 32GB Honor 8 that is up for grabs from Huawei's own online store for the US in either white or black for just $319.99, down from the recommended retail price of $399.99 (and the ~$341 you need to pay for it at Amazon). Alongside the price cut, you also receive a clear TPU case and an accessories gift set for free. So if you don't want it for yourself, this could be a nice (if late) Valentine's Day gift for your lover. As you'd expect, the phone is being sold unlocked.

The Honor 8 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, dual 12 MP rear cameras, an 8 MP selfie snapper, Huawei's Kirin 950 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Well it's better and still more rare than the boring and overused iPhone-inspired Gold/Silver/Rose Gold aluminium back.

I'm not sure. I mean, the design is getting old. I had seen it since 2013. Starting from Oppo R1, Oppo R1S, and Oppo R1X(even the blue color is the same). I prefer something more revolutionary in 2017.

More smartphones should incorporate the design used in Honor 8's back panel.
