Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018Honor 8pro or Nokia 8 please suggest Performance - Nokia 8. Camera - Honor 8 pro. But comparing other features and aesthetic value, Honor 8 pro still a good performance phone and wins overall.

          I don't think I'll live long enough to receive the Oreo update in the UK. Anyway, I managed to dump it on eBay and treated myself to a Oneplus 5T. As soon as I connected it to WiFi it got the Oreo update straight away. I will never trust Huawei again and I'm not alone in thinking that.

                  The phone is being offered at a discount on amazon, but I am worried about heating issues. I have also heard that the new batches of the 8 pro have dull screens. Would this be a good buy now?

                    I read somewhere (but I can't find the article now) that only the H8Pro models that were made for the Chinese market would receive the Oreo update, so that phones made for other markets (i.e. Europe) would not receive it; so it seems pot luck whether you get it or not.

                        Hi all,

                        I now using Honor 8 pro and last month i got update to Oreo. If u want update available in your phone, you need to update your software at play store and u can get it every update depend on how much u update the software.

                        Latest update Oreo it really awesome and until now i dont get any error function and it more and more better like previous Version.

                          Sometimes, mostly when there is white background on a page, there is a part on the top left corner of the screen that becomes white for about 1 sec and then it returns back to normal...it looks like dead pixels but the screen is functioning properly though....this has happened sometimes and it will be disappointing if something is indeed wrong....it should be added that the device has never been dropped or anything like that....has it ever happened to anyone??

                              got 500+ mb update .. it was released in quota system ... only 3000...
                              GOT FACE UNLOCK ! ( oreo 8.00341)

                                Is this phone capable of capturing photos with bokeh effect with its front facing camera.????? other phones like honor 7x has this feature. is this feature still missing with oreo OTA update in honor 8 pro ??
