Ravi, 04 Oct 2017This post is for benifit who are asking feedback about this... moreNO WAY!! op 5 camera in low light is poor. Honor 8 pro cam in daylight and low-light is much better and realistic. Performance is slightly better in real life in 8 pro.(but not much difference, both are excellent) battery life is better in 8 pro, display is lot better in 8 pro, it also comes with VR set and it's much cheaper. So 8 pro is Best.

My new honor 8 pro battery empty and shuts down exactly while at 3% when i try to switch it on. It turns on shows battery 3% and gives popup battery is low phone will shutdown in 30 seconds and it shuts down. I keep turning it back on until it stopped booting to main screen till 1% and put the charge when phone off till it reaches 100%. I did it like this for 3 cycles but still it turns off at 3%. Is it common in all honor 8 pro mobiles or mine is defective. I have tried factory restore and battery calliberation using an app in playstore at 100% still phone shitsdown at 3%. Do i return this phone for replacement? And charging battery tooks nearly 2.45 to 3 hours to full charge from 0 to 100 using provided fast charger. Please reply and help me as soon so that i can go for replacement option. Is my phone is normal pr defective?

Some oneplus devices had the same issue and the company themself confirmed that it's nothing to be concerned about.
I do feel the heat while using outdoor under bright sunlight.at once it did reach 46° but it was on full brightness and 20 min of camera usage.
In indoors 8 pro stays under 41 even with high end games such as asphalt and real racing .

Don't run too many background application at the same time
As it's metal it will give more heat compared to others.
I am sure in future there will be more updates for this device to keep it cool.
Performance and display, this phone is awesome.

The heating maybe a on a slight higher note but still it was there as much only during that update and initialising stages... After it it reduced... The vibration please don't mind... I had the same thing in my HTC M8 all metal phone.. There's nothing to worry about

1 No yellowish tint.
2 Battery backup is max 17-24 hours. If using net battry drops at rate of 1% per 6-8 min.
3 Slight heating, but this much will be there in almost every phone.
4 Camera is good in bright light. Low light pics are ok n pics with flash are pathetic.
One plus 5 is better choice I think..

Friends, I am considering this to buy as there is offer going on in Amazon. But I am bit concerned. Kindly let me if the white background look yellowish in the phone? because I had bought Lenovo P2 and I returned it because all white background was looking yellowish also faced in youtube. This is my concern, kindly tell me if it is the same case with 8 Pro. Also bit concerned about battery backup. friends kindly do help me.
