it's not normal,it should be about 72 hours ,
but how long does your battery last ?
and try restarting your phone and checking again.

eye protection mode is off and the display settings is on Vivid and default and still it is slightly yellowish which makes it unusable for me , compared to my Note 5 pro the difference is huge and makes the 8x unusable for me

As something you do not know, it is an option that has it in Huawei and Honor phones and yes, eye comfort , that filter blue to reduce eye fatigue.

machine, 03 Oct 2019eye protection?no eye protection mode on and even on vivid and default it is slightly yellowish . I am hoping this a one off issue and the replacement will solve it , let's see

Hey guys need some help
i just bought this phone yesterday and the dispaly has a yellowish tint to it that i just cant figure out why , the phone is fully updated and when compared side by side to my Redmi Note 5 pro , it really looks dull
any suggestions on how to rectify this issue

EMUI 9.1 should bring AR Measure feature. How to get it working on Honor 8X? It should be the app but is missing in app list. I found such app AR Measure on AppGallery but seems to be another one because an icon is different than icon in 9.1 introduction spot.

I forgot to write for the camera so here, they say camera takes a bit of work to get good shots but it's for those who just click, amateurs,so for them, camera has 'AI' support, and it can recognize up to 22 different categories and 500 different scenarios, all in real time. This means if you toggle the AI mode on, then point the camera at a plant, it can recognize this and adjust its camera settings to take the most attractive shot, but for those who looking for more, There is a Pro mode, where you can adjust parameters yourself - ISO (50 to 3200), shutter speed (1/4000s to 8s) and slow-mo video also HDR and much more and most importantly is Night Shot mode that algorithmically stitches together multiple shots for a better-exposed low-light photo. It’s something that Google showed off recently with the considerably more expensive Google Pixel 3. In this mode, you have to try and hold the camera as steady as possible for six seconds, wherein the camera takes multiple shots and factors in your camera movement when compositing the end result.
Those long-exposure handheld photos the most expensive Huawei P and Mate phones can do, and that's what everyone owning an Honor 8X should be using to save the precious moments at night.

For Honor 8X- JSN - L21
First for color and mine is black unit and has the best appearance on the front but blue is the prettiest on the back because 16 canvases are best fused to light, for red I didn't have a chance.
the rear glass is durable enough, but I recommend putting a silicone back cover that comes in the box, because glass is slippery but so is it for all new double sided glass phones. The display is gorilla glass 3 + COF and bright enough in the sun so you don't have to cover it to read and yes it support USB OTG.
The sound is enough to talk 1m away from the ear and the speaker is good enough for music.
battery life is very good for at least 2 days and there is option for ultra battery save mode which allows you in an emergency with an almost empty battery that you can talk for a very long time but the android goes off and is talk only.
Android 9.1 update is great and much improved and android 10 (Q) is expected soon as Honor 8X is the first to get official confirmation.
So you have to decide Is it worth to buy Honor 8X in 2019. my opinion is if i am buying a phone now, then i would definitely buy it again, good luck in your choice and if you choose it then come back with your opinion.

Real users help me. Is it worth to buy Honor 8X in 2019? What about performance after android 9 update is it smooth or lags sometimes, camera and battery life? What about screen and sound? Can it support USB OTG? And finally what about rear glass is it durable or prone to crack? Reply fast. Thanks. And don't forget to suggest me most beautiful color blue or red one.
