Performance wise is OK. Im not a heaby gamer but I do regularly play high res Dragon Ball Legends. Game run smooth and fluid. However i feel that opening the camera is a major delay,it could take up to 2 to 3 sec bedore the camera opens. Camera quality is good and fair enough for the price point, but i hope Huawei/Honor will notice this issue on delays of opening camera app and roll out an software update to recover this matter

I do hard reset (becarefull you'll lose all data so make a backup before doing or you know what you do?), no significant drain or heat anymore, I can say now it's normal

          Yes, I should admit with last emui/oreo is more stable, just my feeling more stable with oreo. I hope next update would be better.

            After updating to android pie I am facing challenges with WhatsApp and other applications like Gmail.
            I don't receive any calls or messages in what's app if I am not using phone.
            Any idea how to sort this.

              Thang , 18 Apr 2019Latest EMUI 9 based android pie spoiled it totally. Now it ... moreI have the HONOR 8X - JSN-L21 model and I have no problem with the EMUI 9 especially the battery charging time is not the case for me, every 50 sec is charged at 1%
              I would mention that I charge the battery before it drops 25% and max up to 85%, and in that way I do not allow it to lose the charging cycles, meaning that each battery has a certain number of cycles (300-500) and when you spend all those cycles it starts quickly discharging and becoming unusable

                im still in oreo 107.. and i love the beast performance. i dont want to update in pie.

                    pane, 16 Apr 2019no problems, but improve performances and battery. Latest EMUI 9 based android pie spoiled it totally. Now it is facing battery drain problem and longer charging time. Camera quality has degraded too. EMUI 8.2 is much better.

                      The phone became sluggish after the pie uodate. It's quite noticeable when pulling down the notification bar or transitioning between apps. It felt a lot faster before with Oreo and EMUI 8.2.

                              which has best camera honor 8x or vivo v11 pro

                                Anyone having issues after updating to PIE?? specially for JSN-L42?
                                or really better performance?

                                  In low light conditions each camera has trouble, so for the honor of 8x it has a better effect when you on selfi camera then make flash on always on, and around the picture the screen flash and you illuminate the portrait, also for even better picture Include AI camera. do this and come back here to give you a comment.
